Nigel Spencer This is a wonderful album - shades of fourth world, new age and kankyo ongaku sounds, but very much transcending those influences to hazily shine in its own right. The field recordings - rich in birdsong and meadowy susurrations - along with the sparing but perfectly deployed use of bamboo flute, enhance an already gorgeous set of blissed out, pastoral drift-songs.
