    Filipe Machado thumbnail
Filipe Machado I really like how this leans more into atmosphere than just melody, feeling like actual environments being built here rather than just tunes being written. It creates a very unique vibe that pulls you in. Proper bit of world-building through sound. Solid stuff.
    emanuele127 thumbnail

    by Conifère

    Ippocalyptica thumbnail
Ippocalyptica Conifère is not as well known as it should be, being one of the brightest lights of the mighty Québécois black metal scene, but I am glad to see the universal acclaim here on Bandcamp for the aptly-titled Blood Tax. I think some people make too much of the punk and crust elements here as this is first, foremost, and always a raw BM album, but I do get how the infectious energy and melodies call to mind punk sensibilities. I wish this band a long and prosperous future - they deserve it! Favorite track: III - Le Grand Hyver.
    DAMIENHEARSE thumbnail
DAMIENHEARSE not much to add, but what other have said is true: this is really, really good. Favorite track: I - Liberté / II - Furia.
    Spinebrain thumbnail
Spinebrain What a frigging surprise. Then again I should have known that Canadian scene never disappoints. Favorite track: I - Liberté / II - Furia.

    Eric thumbnail
Eric Raw, evil and hateful black metal with dungeon synth. Love the rawness of the recording, the dark and hunting synth and the spewing hate without any bs or gimmicks. Favorite track: Torech Ungol.
