    Salvatore Munzone thumbnail
Salvatore Munzone I love how the whole thing was sort of ambiguous about the actual drukq.. until the horse sample at the end of the album telling you ''yeah it was about that all along!'' had me laughing!! ...also last opn album (most probably) couldn't not have it on vinyl! Favorite track: For Residue.

richard winchell A tour de force of exploration and layering sound on sound. Favorite track: Lifeworld.

  2. Dysnomia
    by Dawn of Midi
    supported by
    rupert1971 thumbnail
rupert1971 Very Steve Reich with more uptempo instrumentation (love the double bass). Beautifully hypnotic but perfectly urgent so quite DnB in feel. Not a duff moment / second. Favorite track: Dysnomia.
    valrus thumbnail
valrus I guess this fits broadly into the "minimalism" category but it's not quite like anything else I've heard. Hypnotic.

Seems crazy to pick a single favorite track from what feels like a single continuous piece, but the "drop" at 3:45 of Ijiraq is my favorite single moment on here. Favorite track: Ijiraq.
    polinos thumbnail
polinos Mesmerizing minimalist music in a cathegory all its own. From seemingly simple building blocks, Dawn of Midi constructs intricate tapestries of sound, that grips the listener and does not let go before the music is over.

StrengthWithin The whole album is classic DM (1990-ish). Much needed here in 2026. Favorite track: March of the Undead.
    JT EXTREME thumbnail
JT EXTREME A tasty slab of 2025 death metal, this full-length debut is more than just chugs. Wait till the eerie whiff of the 2nd track hits and you be like, "OH YES, this band gets it." RIYL: Phobophilic, Vacuous.

    Richard Sudusky thumbnail
Richard Sudusky I wanted to find out what Louis Cole's musician friends were up to, found this, instantly loved it. Favorite track: Here We Go.
    archerliam thumbnail
archerliam Truly a special album by Mr. Mann. Great interplay between all three musicians. Some great brush work by Mr. Euman. Sonically and musically a treat to listen to! Favorite track: Fractions of Pennies.

jacki8005 I love how no-pressure the Vulfmon albums are and this is no exception. It’s just breezy banger one after another and I’m so glad i can be along for the ride.
(I put Big Boy 4014 as my fav but id say its split between track 1, 2, 4 and 8) Favorite track: Big Boy 4014.
    Sax Blaster thumbnail
Sax Blaster Jack's songwriting is so poignant, so familiar, so classic. Great songs, deep grooves, hot bops, and earworms that infect. Favorite track: Dawn.

veldusi As intriguing as beautiful. Funny thing, first few tracks in I immediately thought of Dntel, before even seeing that Tamborello was actually (slightly) involved. How cool is that :) Favorite track: Sleepless.
