  1. Empath (Deluxe Edition)
    by Devin Townsend

WxDragonGhoulxB borderlands keeps playing without me paying attention, which always ends with me hearing the rooster crow and going "what is going on-" Favorite track: Genesis.
    Nocturnal Egg (Jordan) thumbnail
Favorite track: Singularity.
    Henry @ Astral Acoustics thumbnail
Henry @ Astral Acoustics There is death metal and then there is this. This is life metal.

This album touched a deeper part of my soul. Specifically the third track.

Thank you, Devin. Favorite track: Spirits Will Collide.

binomess Combines the Canterbury-style prog with a little bit of a Gentle Giant feel for a pretty amazing release that I can't get enough of! Favorite track: Spinning Array.
    Logen Ninefingers thumbnail
Logen Ninefingers Diagonal trim the excess from their earlier records; this LP is more focused. From the exciting Can-like jam of ‘Stellate’ to the jazz-infected ‘Chroma’ with its excellent harmonised vocals, ‘4’ may be more compact, but it revels in its eclecticism, weaving Canterbury tales incorporating a Prog Rock base with elements of Space Rock, Komische and Psych. The labyrinth ‘Totem’ is particularly noteworthy with its mesmerising guitar refrain that tolls endlessly, like a church bell Favorite track: Totem.
    Carsten Pieper thumbnail
Carsten Pieper Their Arc was one of the positive surprises in 2019, as I have to admit to never have heard by this British sextet before. Their way of mixing different influences is quite special, at least I don't know any other band with a similar approach (although on first listening the indie/alternative rock component might play a lesser role than on Arc). Favorite track: Stellate.

Spacecowboy88 Familiar yet very different prog from these gentlemen.
Vide variety of soundscapes but always interesting.
All of their albums are brilliant from start to finish, love it.
    Highly recommend! Favorite track: Citadel.

Carsten Pieper Scavenged from the depth of the wishlist, a pearl shimmering in HD quality ;-)
Interesting mixture of different styles (I here all the tags listed but I'd like to add indie rock and even Canterbury to the list).
    Favorite track: Citadel.
    Alrihkh thumbnail
Alrihkh Arc’s somewhat-psychedelic, modern, off-the-beaten-path style of prog is quite interesting. The similarities I draw are that, at times, their music reminds me a bit of Radiohead & the vocals of Bryan Ferry. Looking forward to 4.
    7.5/10. Favorite track: Citadel.

Spacecowboy88 Are more mellow effort from this danish gentlemen's.
But equally brilliant as their earlier albums.
A very atmospheric and beautiful album. Favorite track: 7.2.
    Tim thumbnail
Tim I love the start, hugging you with the cerebral warmth of sparkly cymbals and overall psychedelic beauty it then slowly disbands you to that ice planet drone of blissfull solitude.
Good to know Papir is out there. Favorite track: 7.1 (part I-III).
    David Goldstein thumbnail
David Goldstein Most Papir records melt your face. This one freezes it, albeit awesomely. Gorgeous ambient soundscapes.
