  1. Buy the Ticket, Take the Ride
    by THE BLACK RYDER
    supported by
    Colin thumbnail
Colin Some completely unexpected psych rock - and not psych rock in a discoordinated, disharmonious way, but full on melodic progressive wailing guitar and vapid vocals. Some songs perhaps move in the direction of blues rock with ungroomed riffs and echos, to combine for a very grungy authoritative feeling. This album knew what it wanted to be and is completely unapologetic about it.
    Favorite track: Let It Go.

Ryan Delehanty A beautiful, riveting and mostly forgotten piece of early 70's teenage psychedelia. Favorite track: Now She's Gone.

    seville627 thumbnail
seville627 I'm not aware of many bands that can be as sonically wild & spiritually centered as Flavor Crystals. I love this record. If you're at all lysergically inclined, I highly recommend regular doses.

I tremble Favorite track: Another Second Chance.
    Nathan Ingraham thumbnail
Nathan Ingraham Rocket blew me away right from the jump, dragging me back to my 90s heyday and hitting me with fuzzy melodic tunes the likes of which I absolutely would have jammed out to at 15 and am glad to hear at 45. Looking forward to hearing more from them!

That last song! Favorite track: R is for Rocket.
    Chelcee thumbnail
Chelcee A familiar sound I love without being a copy. Favorite track: Crossing Fingers.

    Michael Reilly thumbnail
Michael Reilly Sea of Stars presents a very agreeable collection of hypnotic sounds and moods; the songs have great flow and ambience, and a nice variation in their musical identity. Very slow and dreamy at times, but never dull, this album fits nicely with earlier releases. Favorite track: Brite Lite.

David Oberlin Man, I wish I wrote riffs as heavy as this! \m/ <3 \m/ Favorite track: American Porn.
    t0cktock thumbnail
t0cktock The videos slowly trickled into my YouTube algorithms somehow. Then one night, I fell asleep watching something else on YouTube and woke up to their KEXP performance of "American Porn". It's been stuck in my head ever since. Die Spitz lives somewhere in the intersection of grunge, punk and metal; filthy and heavy. Favorite track: American Porn.
    emmerybarb thumbnail
emmerybarb Ready to ride into battle and throw myself to the sword 🤭💕💋 Favorite track: Throw Yourself to the Sword.

Gareth Fitzpatrick This is killer neo psych record with an eastern / Indian influence, sometimes meditative, sometimes rockin’. And the coloured vinyl sounds top notch…
    Nickie Harte Kelly thumbnail
Nickie Harte Kelly Veering from psychedelia to folk with some world and krautrock elements thrown into the mix, Upupamaya is multi-instrumentalist Alessio Ferrari, who resides not far from Parma, Italy. The music is hypnotic and meditative, exotic and esoteric. The vocals are rather mysterious, which suits the intricate musical tapestry. Favorite track: Thimpu.
    carlos_herrera thumbnail
carlos_herrera Amazing third release from Upupayama. Alessio is a genius, and he keeps evolving with each release. Really enjoyed a lot every album, and this is no exception. Favorite track: Moon Needs The Owl.
    raffaele melina thumbnail
