VIV Been listening to Black Metal for 15 years now, and this is the first album to recapture the euphoria I felt back when I first dipped my toes into the genre through Dimmu Borgir's Enthrone Darkness Triumphant.

This album is brilliant, dramatic, and brazenly original, casting aside conventions and proving Lamp of Murmuur as a master of the Genre. I'm excited to see what forms future releases will take. Favorite track: Hategate (The Dream-Master's Realm).

chrismnyc Love the fat and raw-ish production style. Walks the line well between high production and raw black metal.

Ippocalyptica I have the full version here on 29 April, and it is clear that Stormkeep has taken their first real creative risks on Nocturnes. This sounds a lot different than their previous works, to the point where you might be forgiven if you thought there had been a total lineup change (there was not). Differences include more breathing room, that every song is more dynamic, and that the album is, overall, more melodic but also more subdued. Still excellent, still worthwhile, and still Stormkeep!
