   GORJUS A haunting, sensitive, and otherworldly album. Growing up we might’ve called this mountain music, but now I’m not so sure. The music seems to emanate from a time long ago, even as the tales of loss and hope resonate right now. Plus, I love the art of Harrison Mayes, and choosing one of his artifacts for the cover expresses a very sincere type of artistry.

   

   Grant Seep into our mind, spring forth from an aquifer forgotten. Favorite track: Bright Morning Star.

   Shadow J. Brown Industries She has made pop music interesting and wonky again. Both ethereal, Frou Frou-esque, yet with a modern production. Perfectly written songs. One of the best pop albums of the 2010s. Favorite track: Look At Me Now.
