Urso X Spanish atmo post-black to die for. To those who still insist there are no good leftist bands, 1) get an f’n clue, and 2) give this gem a spin.

“Nerthus” and “Freyja” are absolute mind-blowers, the former being an early contender for SOTY. Favorite track: Nerthus.
    Der Brecher thumbnail
Der Brecher This really is right up my alley: Beautiful melodies, harsh and tender moments, a variety of tempos - all masterfully arranged. Not a dull moment on here. The Ulmus songs work really well in this style too. I’m a fan. Don’t miss out on this.

YomaBarr Less baroque than Curia, way madder than their first canonic three albums... somewhat like Orgone were in bad need of immediate psychiatric help. Love Fabio's vocals and always did. He sings as if the world was being swept away right before his very eyes.
    Urso X thumbnail
Urso X The dissonance and madness of this record is truly off the charts, yet it’s written and executed so flawlessly, it becomes a thing of (horrible) beauty. Absolutely stunning.

My sincerest thanks to the band for their Bandcamp Friday sale :)

gnihilo Skin-peeling disso death of the intense, ugly kind. I've rarely seen an artwork that fits the music as well as it does here - this album drags you in and pulls you down until you almost drown...
    Opressive music for oprresive times.

Der Brecher The three acoustic guitar songs that frame and divide this record are SO awesome. There's not many things that I love as much as intense and tasteful contrasts. It just always works on me. So good.
    bmurator thumbnail
bmurator Italian Post-Black Metal / Hardcore. This is a concept album - the notes are well worth reading as well as the lyrics! Notes first, then lyrics for the most coherent understanding... :) This entire album takes you on an epic & tortuous journey of discovery where the music matches the lyrics all the way! Be prepared & arm yourself though because the trip has quite a bit of turbulence... :) Thanks to Yoma 🖤 for allerting me to this, I would have missed it otherwise... :) Highly recommended!!! Favorite track: Curia.
    mourner thumbnail
mourner While Noise Trail Immersion has only been putting out next level music this is next level Noise Trail Immersion. Sophisticated musical non-conformity. Insane and ridiculously good. It's hard to choose a favourite track when the album should be seen as a whole but Eclissi unanime impressed me deeply. As did Curia in it's entirety. Favorite track: Eclissi unanime.
