  1. Nyarlathotep
    by Cryo Chamber Collaboration
    supported by
    Juraku thumbnail
Juraku I need to stop buying digital when I have the physical, but this is one of those releases that is so good, I know I won't be the only one buying in multi-formats. Favorite track: Nyarlathotep 2.
    Plushie Fanatic thumbnail
Plushie Fanatic ❤️A dark ambient masterpiece which perfectly captures the essence of Lovecraft's body of work as well as this entity in particular. So much grandeur, mystery, and eeriness with both soothing and maddening textures. Highly recommended! Favorite track: Nyarlathotep 2.
    TheEverWanderer thumbnail
TheEverWanderer The distant, humming beats ring out over the cosmos in such a cascade! The music seems to invoke such a vast picture, but it also seems so focused on it's direct perspective and narrative. Brilliant! The art does such an amazing job of conveying this as well. Favorite track: Nyarlathotep 2.

  2. Yog-Sothoth
    by Cryo Chamber Collaboration
    supported by
    David Fischer thumbnail
David Fischer Yog-Sothoth. The thought of something lurking beyond time and space, seeing and knowing everything and all in existence at any given time, is deeply unsettling and yet fascinating. This outermost, outerworldly feeling is being transported in a good way. Part 1 is good, but Part 2 indeed sounds like I would imagine The Lurker at the Threshold to feel, if he felt anything. An outerworldly, cosmic and desolate piece of dark ambient. Favorite track: Yog-Sothoth 2.
    Tru3Exist0r thumbnail
Tru3Exist0r Who's Cthulhu's and Hastur's Cosmic Daddy? Who is the Outermost God of them all? Who are the Outermost Gods of Music? Cryo Chamber, of course!
    MorKroM thumbnail
MorKroM Yog-Sothoth knows the gate. Yog-Sothoth is the gate. Yog-Sothoth is the key and guardian of the gate. Past, present, future, all are one in Yog-Sothoth. He knows where the Old Ones broke through of old, and where They shall break through again.

  3. Azathoth
    by Cryo Chamber Collaboration
    supported by
    Genxian thumbnail
Genxian Ethereal and sombre, Azathoth captures the eldritch horror of Lovecraft's vision to exceptional degrees. To let the mind stop in the face of the sheer scope of the soundscape created, that is wondrous. Favorite track: Azathoth 1.
    k9 thumbnail
k9 very enjoyable. nothing fancy. solid and smooth. if this would be a color, I would say its black with a pinch indigo-blue.
thx cryo chamber, this label is just the best tool within this heavy times
    Tru3Exist0r thumbnail
Tru3Exist0r Among the very best of Cryo Chamber's Lovecraftian albums, and that's saying a lot. Azathoth's two long form ambient odysseys really do capture the sense of scale, the sheer weight and size of Azathoth, the blind idiot god, who is, alas, the very ground of cosmic being. The music draws you in and then overwhelms and overpowers you, so that you are listening...helplessly, flat, prone but destined to survive this potent aural sample of Azathoth's power!

axiomenterance Stunning packaging, thank you for making CD's of your work. This music helps me with my writing
    davidthekane thumbnail
davidthekane This music successfully captures the sensory atmosphere that every work of Cosmic Horror endeavors to induce. Spiritual and philosophical awe encircles a doomful enlightenment.

The blanket of psychic pressure rises, like a swampy tide, as we're consumed into the fathomless mind of the cephalopod god.
    ia, ia, fhtagn, dude.

lodmpaul well at last finally brought a physical copy. been enjoying your music on you tube for good while so thank you for your hard work.

Bacchus Absolute pinnacle of ambient dungeon synth for me. Favorite track: Star Lore.
    chief thumbnail
chief I would give a pint of genuine unmixed blood to own the Aindulmedir cassettes.
...Which means less today - in the age of iodine and catheters - than it did in say, the dark ages. Oh well, I stand by it. Favorite track: Always A Wind.
    Phyl Lobius thumbnail
Phyl Lobius Couldn’t imagine a better soundtrack to the harsh but beautiful winter nights we have in Germany at the moment. A wordless ode to frosty starlight and deep-frozen nature. Favorite track: Celestial Studies.

    Lute FP thumbnail
Lute FP Wow. Just wow. This band is a rabbit hole to fall into. World Alternative Industrial I shall call it, and that’s just exactly what it is. Whatever that is. Every offering is unique, sonically tremendous, and not like anything else you’ve heard. Take a trip down the Laibach hole yourself.

    From Slovenia! Read their wiki!
    rammstein1986 thumbnail
rammstein1986 I originally bought this album because I already knew what the song were gonna sound like exactly, stereo listening to the live album in the UK but I just don't understand why Milan sings so monotone in the studio version of the whole album and also the music arrangements feel flat. it's kinda like when you see a very appetizing dash but once you taste it you're like... meh 😒. Milan needs to sing with the same passion as he does live!

I want you to show me!!! Favorite track: I Want To Know What Love Is.
    DAS VILLAIN thumbnail
DAS VILLAIN Laibach has made their entire 40+ year existence being 'true subversives' in and outside of music. That goes triple when they reimage songs they cover, always doubling down by twisting it in their malevolent image in a good way! Such is the case of the classic Foreigner track. Never lost on their own irony and irreverence, Laibach delivers a 'knockout punch' of synthpop-laden perfection as only Laibach can do! Favorite track: I Want To Know What Love Is (Extended).
    Der Ohlsen thumbnail
Der Ohlsen "[...] Damn, the more I listen to all of those, the more hooked I am. This song is just pure evil. All hail our Dark Lords Foreigner!"
