Xtra Happy Taking the art pop elements of the self-titled reunion album from a couple of years ago into a jazz and ambient direction was certainly not what I thought would come next for TMV, but then again A). I don't think anyone would've, and B). it's yet again another strong direction change I'm glad they've taken.

Intricately detailed, especially for a whole 50 minute through-mixed experience, I've found this works really well as a late night listen, much like "Octahedron" and "Que Dios" before it. Favorite track: Voice in my knives.

“WookieeRhythmRage” After experiencing Earthling in full at the recent listening party, I can confidently say this record stands out as a “modern masterpiece” that sticks with you long after the final note.

Simply put: 10/10. A stunning achievement.
