Mexican Black / Post-Black Metal. Some very interesting & definitely cavernous vocals that feel as though they are coming from beyond the grave & create a lovely atmosphere of decadence & death! One of the tracks is even fittingly called "Decay"... :) No faves! Thanks TOR & Kunal! Recommended!

That opening riff, that first scream 👌🏼
Seriously good album, don't sleep on it!

Murky black metal that's claustrophobic yet expansive, with the doom and disso-DM twinges adding power to Muerto's poisonous bite. The album overall and Matamoros' vocals in particular sound like a hollow message from the heart of a yawning abyss just before it snaps shut forever.
Favorite track: Burning Shadows.

I first discovered Russian Circles in 2020, through this album. Now, with the anniversary sale, I knew I had to grab a CD copy! This album has the absolute perfect blend of heaviness, atmosphere and melody and the songs are written to give you just the right amount of each before switching things up. Some post-metal can almost overstay its welcome but Station doesn't have that flaw. Everything flows with perfection!

A sonic rollercoaster; so much tension into relief, nightmares into dreams.

Holy smokes, I admit, I slept on this. and only after fi ding out about hedonist , extensive slaughter I revisited this. this is hitting every sweet spot musically for me
the vocalists gargles glass, hot sauce and a book of matches every morning. how he sungs like that is beyond me

More scintillating retro psych folk that passed me by somehow last year. This outfit from Liverpool consistently deliver exquisitely melancholic pieces, with lyrics offered up in several languages. Instrumentation is provided by keyboards, cello, percussion, and the achingly plaintive female vocals. This is golden.
Favorite track: Equinox.
Thanks The Revolutionary Army of The Infant Jesus
Favorite track: Song of The Wandering Aengus.
