caleb i was sold on track 1. this shit DESTROYS
    doive thumbnail
doive Possibly fitting in the experimental/melodic deathgrind type, this release is certainly THE most staggering I've been listening to in the course of this last couple of decades. Arranging and adorning grindcore with such high spirit and attention to details is obviously not a common thing, which gives us all the more reason to gratefully appraise this powerful album as due.
Hopefully will we witness their return with new materials anytime soon, who knows? ↓↓↓↓↓
Hyperkudos for all bonus tracks! Favorite track: Bringer of Elvenefris Flame - Original.
    Millstone Words & Sounds thumbnail
Millstone Words & Sounds At first this sounds like almost a typical brutal death metal album, but it quickly reveals itself to be much more. This album contains layers. It's wild to think this album is almost 30 years old. It contains pretty much everything I enjoy in modern music. The hype around this one is real. Favorite track: Bringer of Elvenefris Flame - Remastered.

    by Stormkeep
    supported by
    Igor thumbnail
Igor The album art was what initially caught my attention (besides the obvious reasons...) because it looks very 90's-esque... Still I would say it is worth mentioning that it took 1 one track to make me blind purchase this... I have high hopes for this band and album! But so far I can already tell I will become a fan! I will add more when the full album drops... but man... I'm already excited! Favorite track: Carnal Tapestries Of Nailtorn Flesh.

    Emil Hansen thumbnail
Emil Hansen I’ve often wondered whether we would ever hear from Sweven again. ‘The Eternal Resonance’ is one of my favourite records in recent years so I was happy to find out about Speglas who absolutely kill it with a Tribulation-esque expansive death metal sound and some stellar songwriting. Favorite track: The Spirit Postmortem.
    Bürli thumbnail
Bürli The best Tribulation(-ish) album since 'The Children of the Night'

    Highly recommended.

Matthew Black metal perfection. Blends elements of old Immortal, Inquisition and Wolves in the Throne Room for a raw, atmospheric and frostbitten journey to Hyperborea. Favorite track: Purged of All Southern Influence.
    Meatbreak thumbnail
Meatbreak Unreal new album of mighty warrior caste black metal from Iron Firmament. A vivid world of raw melodicism and explorative atmospherics on an epic scale.

Love the Bruce Pennington artwork and landscape j-card design too.

Favorite track: Blue Blades Flame and Crimson.

    porcelainheart- thumbnail
porcelainheart- Perfect entry-level trad heavy metal. This genre never clicked with me no matter who I listened to. Iron Maiden, Atlantean Kodex, you name it. I had just begun warming to Khemmis, and this might have just made me a fan. If you're like me and most traditional heavy metal does nothing for you, listen to this. You won't regret it. An epic journey, front to back. Favorite track: A Face in the Glare.

fulci_lives86 This is hands down the best Deathhammer so far. I hear some slight influence here and there of The Legacy era Testament on this one, especially on Abyssic Thunder. AOTY in 2025 for me. Favorite track: Abyssic Thunder.

    Matt Bass (Phoenix Breaks) thumbnail
Matt Bass (Phoenix Breaks) Grave Ghoul are the best death metal band to come out of the UK since the early 90's. This album is pure perfection, and is my first favourite death metal release since Warmaster in 1991 - and that is saying something!
    tank_06 thumbnail
tank_06 Stomps & grooves like a muhfucka. Try to not bang ya head to this twisted shit.
Mr. Wills has provided some exquisite Halloween smokin music for the death fiends like me. Ooh wee...put it in the air. Favorite track: Cathedral Of Tombs.

    Obsidian One thumbnail
Obsidian One The opening of 'Age of Chains' is a breath of fresh air in black metal — atmospheric, melodic, epic. The music has a different feel than most in the genre: less dark and more fantasy, though still intense at times with icy guitar riffs and cold blast beats. I like the bright-colored cover art, with no logo or text, and the title of the fifth track, 'Behold the Shadow of My Thoughts', is great as well. Favorite track: Age of Chains.
    Jana thumbnail
Jana Welcome to the magic world of J.R.R. Tolkien, I mean its darker side, of course 😉 This album promises an intense experience to look forward to by all lovers of epic black metal and strong storytelling. I'd like to highlight its excellent production and memorable riffs, as well as collaboration with names as Hulder and Lamp of Murmuur. And yes, it's possible to make lead synth that doesn't sound cheesy 😁 Favorite track: Behold the Shadow of My Thoughts.
    Sid thumbnail
Sid A refreshing surprise. This album has the ferocity that black metal is known for, but has a little bit of the melodic and dungeon synth aspect of it sprinkled in as well. Musically, this album reminds me of Hrad, Caladan Brood, and Stormruler.

The Tolkien lyrical themes are also really neat. Favorite track: Of Desperate Valor.

    by Cronos Compulsion
    featured track 00:00/00:00
    Lawgiver Lawgiver
    supported by
    Lorenzo thumbnail
Lorenzo Beefy-ass death metal buried in a doomy murk. Perhaps best described as short-form death / doom, Lawgiver packs all of its brute force aggression into bite sized tracks that come like a blood-seeking onslaught. Devoid of anything fancy, the album churns with sludgey guitars that hit like concrete slabs to the back of the head before being vomited upon by sickening vocals. Touches of the album are closer to brutal death and dissonant metal as well, and the aggression is welcomed on this beatdown
    Camel thumbnail
Camel Grade A cuts of death metal with old school seasoning. Favorite track: Mortal Dissolution.
    Jono Schneider thumbnail
Jono Schneider Fun as fuck and heavy as fuck Favorite track: Neolithic Meditations.
