mursegopher I'm no musician, so I lack the imagination to give any advice of usable value. I will say I like Sketches just as it is. I don't see any real need for improvement with a later release. It feels raw and real. I'd be afraid a more polished effort on most of the songs would reduce its poigniancy and emotion. Especially the song the Reckoning. Either way you do it, I buy anything you produce uncle Randy. Been listening for 40 years now.

rlfsac One of the best albums of 2025. I agree with the other commenter who said these songs do not need fuller production - they are fully realized and beautiful in this form.
