    Diamond Field thumbnail
Diamond Field Great time capsule of an album that would have hit hard in 1989 if it had been released then but still sounds fresh in 2024!

wrymfterrill A true honor to meet (one of) you and downtown Raleigh recently, sorry it took so damn long to truly engage with your music. So far so good for this “lost” masterpiece.

The Bear This release was wonderful news. I and enjoying the vibe and BBT's amazing range. Favorite track: The Last English King.
    Mick robinson thumbnail
Mick robinson Excellent remix of a very good early album by a great band. Loved seeing them at The Stables back in September Favorite track: The Last English King.
    woodypatof thumbnail
woodypatof In my humble opinion Bard is the first BBT album on which you can hear what the band would become later. It was not their first CD I bought (Gathering Speed an album I still love) but soon after, Bard became my favorite BBT record (surpassed by The Underfall Yard a few years later). Can't wait to hear how this reissue will sound.
Update: I'm really glad I purchased this new version of Bard. Can't believe how great it sounds. At times it's almost like listening to a new album. Highly recommended

TheEliteExtremophile This album delivers what’s advertised on the tin. The music is weird, full of off-kilter rhythms, atypical chords, and wonky melodies. Stimmerman also blends strains of jazz, metal, alt-rock, and more into a dense and thorny record.

    Blödfist thumbnail
Blödfist Discovered them searching for microtonal music, different from ADeP or KGLW.
Not disappointed AT ALL. Favorite track: Binary.
    Ghuughra thumbnail
Ghuughra Don't quite know how to describe this one. Like At the Drive-In, but if they were out of tune intentionally. Or like a low-rent Rush on bars and a dangerous dose of some kind of deliriant.

Motherf*ckers literally built custom instruments to spite all the dudes out there with perfect pitch, and I entirely approve. Favorite track: Grown Apart.

toygile I met Tommaso Cappellato at a concert a few days ago - he performed a few sets and it was so different, but in a ‘I need to hear more’ kind of way. after his performance, I chatted with him a bit and found out that he was part of a band & that they were on bandcamp (music to my ears). Immediately after the concert I checked out the projects by Tommaso & Collectivo Immaginario, and now I just can’t wait to add future projects to the vinyl collection. Favorite track: Libra.

Ravi Sidhu Vento Eterno...spiritual jazz anthem right there! Favorite track: Vento Eterno (feat. Dwight Trible & Isaiah Collier).
    icetonic thumbnail
icetonic Both classy and modern, soundscapes that take you to beautiful places! Melody, texture and pacing - everything is cooked just right to catch a glimpse of a sun-kissed summer evening. A pleasant cool breeze, just enough to make tree leaves dance in unison. A well-crafted spectacle full of warmth and soul! Favorite track: Libra.

Marcin Wielewski I've heard about Hallas many times from my friends, but never gave a listen to them. Now I'm blazed and confused. Opening track 21 minutes long may suggest lazy song, but in fact, with so many plot twists it offers much more than I expect. Great find. Favorite track: Face of an Angel.
    Jonas thumbnail
Jonas always loved this band... saw them again last week and they opened with this 22min track. lovely. Favorite track: Above the Continuum.
