DJ Clint Pittenger Every release is a masterpiece awaiting to take you from this world to a better world. Thank you Hammock! Your music understands... Favorite track: Nevertheless.
    Csaba Rozinyak thumbnail
Csaba Rozinyak Requiem for Johan is among the all-time best that Hammock has made. There is a flow of beauty to it that really gets under your skin. Some songs just do it so effortlessly, and this is among them. For me it stands tall not only on this album but in Hammock’s entire discography. I only wish it had been longer, even more detailed and more explosive such as more of the strings you get around 3 minutes into the track, but to be fair it will be on loop for quite some time as is. Favorite track: Requiem for Johan.

Worm This is the first album I found while browsing Bandcamp for something outside my comfort zone. It’s a beautiful record, and I’m pursuing this post-rock discovery. Favorite track: She Likes the Stormy Weather.

    Jeff Neary thumbnail
Jeff Neary Beautiful soul soothing music. Provides a lot of context for Love in The Void. Hammock’s “from the x sessions” releases are always such cohesive statements on their own as well. Hammock has so many styles: ambient hammock, orchestral hammock, rock hammock, shoegaze hammock. From the Void blends their orchestral sounds with their rock sounds. Favorite track: Southern Snow.

lesterpiggot Oh my goodness! This is absolutely narcotic! No words! 12 Tracks with over 4hrs playing...what a trip! Never boring! But exploring!
I thought that "The Sleepover Series"are just awesome as awesome could be (and they are, infact) but this here...calm down, relax, float, drop off and dive in your subconsciousness ...

Dave Eisinger Rarely have I heard an album that so perfectly matches its title. A peaceful, soothing septet of tracks that helps you find perspective, chill, and appreciate the small joys of life. Hearing the different facets of Lights' talent set is like finding out that a painter is also a sculptor - oh, and a photographer, and they do mosaics? This facet is no less stunning than her other works. Favorite track: DarkMode.

ainsofar I found out about Lights through Gunship and I certainly am glad for that. great album
    Stephen G thumbnail
Stephen G Quite a departure from the rest of Lights' music, which might be why it's only available on Bandcamp. But this is truly amazing Synthwave.
