sashavonkarl74 Many Thanks to Season of Mist for the code, much appreciated! Loved the CD digipak, great design and high quality booklet, as usual for Drudkh! Favorite track: Somewhere, Sometime.
    Saffron Robe thumbnail
Saffron Robe The inimitable Drudkh. Drudkh are to black metal as Kant is to philosophy — unimpeachable! These three tracks are suffused with polyphonic tones of fragile beauty that few bands can capture as well as Drudkh.
    Dr Sküllfük thumbnail
Dr Sküllfük A perfect follow up to Shadow Play, great atmosphere and excellent riffs, Drudkh can do no wrong these days it seems! Favorite track: A Moment in Eternity.

Siderian Oxide I feel like this album can heal my wounded soul. So melancholically beautiful Favorite track: Return Of Darkness.
    Obsidian One thumbnail
Obsidian One The first two full-length albums by Eldamar, 'The Force of the Ancient Land' and 'A Dark Forgotten Past', are enveloping and soothing. The textural vocals function as instruments themselves — rather than conveying lyrics, they simply add to the atmospheric beauty of this gentle style of black metal. Dreamlike and somberly peaceful, Eldamar, like nature itself, heals the spirit. Favorite tracks: Return Of Darkness, Another Journey Begins.

    Verboseman thumbnail
Verboseman This album released in a year where for personal reasons, I was as receptive to every word of it as I've ever been. While I relate a lot less nowadays to the lovesick pining here, the wrestling between joy and nihilism is as strong as it's ever been in the past 10 years I've listened to it. It's too sincere, and I love it for that. Favorite track: Adora Vivos.
    Aemiq thumbnail
Aemiq Favourite band, second favourite outing. There's just something so desolate, yet counterintuitively at the same time optimistic and well-thought about this record. And although Woods 4 is slightly stronger in my book since it manages the tandem between heavy and serene, this one is probably the one I listened to much more since it's just so easy to fall for.

If I could, I would list several favourite tracks but for now Alternate Ending shall suffice. Favorite track: Alternate Ending.

Em I listen to this very often and I'm still not quite sure what it is that grips me so much? It's a very hypnotic track, the words spoken by Tibet are very haunting and the overall tone is unsettling and gross. But I can't help but love this so much because of that. Incredible release.

Unknown295 I wonder if he ever went through with his plan. It sounds quite flawed.
