Guitar Noire Strange, beautiful music! Love it! Favorite track: Saint-Médard.

Strange Celestial Road Easily one of Trevor's most excellent recordings. The compositions sustain a dense, dark atmosphere but they are all about dynamics and tension. The performances are just insane. The chemistry between Trevor, that alchemist of percussion Ches Smith and the whammy witchery of Mary Halvorson is undeniable, plus the clever placement of the chamber instruments in the arrangements give this music a whole new direction and meaning. Seriously hoping TD expands on what was accomplished in Sèances.

Dumb mmmn elves are portrayed as thin, nimble creatures who seem quick and agile - you wouldn't normally see one barreling through the forest primarily using his/her fists as weapons; why is that? what would an elvish aberration look like?

klBlk Captivating is the first word I think of in regards to this. It's simply interesting to listen to. The riffs are tasty; the true testament to this masterpiece is the god tier level of arranging. It's an insanely good, organic, fun, and thoughtfully put together album. 5/5 fuck yeas
