Caligari La la love it. Favorite track: Lieday.
    Gyldaria Tanogen thumbnail
Gyldaria Tanogen Heavily noisy, dirty, and ambitious - quite a departure from their previous records - but Anamanaguchi all the same. This is some truly high energy music that has super anthemy lyrics that are sure to excite for decades to come. An almost romantic basement-punk type aesthetic with soaring excitement. Very nice to hear chiptune synths in behind it all!

'Cause nothing comes out of nowhere!! Favorite track: Sapphire.
    grimmthewanderer thumbnail
grimmthewanderer Back-to-back bangers, an unforgettable listening party, the return of Anamanaguchi...so many great things about Anyway! What I love most is it's a window into the 90s-00s, but it's not bittersweet or sappy. It's more like, "Hey remember that one time? That was awesome." It honors the past but also sounds like a couple of friends who are having fun in the present and hopeful for the future. Let's get these guys into the next Batman movie!

P.S.: ty for the free watermelon airheads polyvinyl <3 Favorite track: Buckwild.

grahamy Wistful and eccentric as much as it is violent and punky, with excellent riff work and songwriting thrown into the mix, this is probably my favorite Wagner Ödegard release. Highly recommended Favorite track: Farkoster.

Thomas This record has been on heavy rotation since it came out. It is rock distilled down to its most raw and primal and some of his best work in his solo era! Favorite track: Bless Yourself.

sandubogi I must tell 7 friends! Favorite track: Archbishop Harold Holmes.
    Fernaculous thumbnail
Fernaculous 10/10 pure rock. If a scientist set out to create absolute purified elemental rock n roll this album is what you would find under the microscope. Favorite track: It's Rough on Rats (If You're Asking).

tinysombrero_15 This is one of my favorite albums of all time!!! I love the heaviness of Hair of Dog and Groping Dogs Gushing Blood but Chug has risen to the very top of my replay list! I think the little melodic guitar lick (?I don't know a single thing about music theory) that plays in Chug is extremely pretty. Favorite track: Chug.
    David Braime thumbnail
David Braime My favourite musical discovery since Hands Off Gretel reignited my interest in new music back in 2018. Love the energy, the lyrics, the grungey guitar, everything!

Dana Rockwell When one of my fellow Gen-X'rs start pissing and moaning about "they don't make good music anymore," I can honestly tell them to go get fucked.
