𝕋𝕨𝕚𝕤𝕥𝕖𝕕𝕤𝕠𝕦𝕝 Absolutely essential jazz, boogie album! A rare classic from Don McCaslin's Warmth. Every track's a winner but look out for "Praise Poems", "Afro blue" and "A Song The Children Dance To" in particular! You need this album!! Favorite track: Afro Blue.
    Eliana Ben david thumbnail
Eliana Ben david Discovered the music of Don McCaslin (the Father) through Tramp Records' Praise Poems (vol. 1), and fell in love. such a wonderful musician, happy to discover him after all these years. Favorite track: A Song The Children Dance To.
    Allan Hansen thumbnail
Allan Hansen Laidback and oozing with a coolness from an era gone by. Warmth is one of those records that deserves to be played over and over again. Great for those snazzy parties or a rainy day accompanied by a "damn fine cup of coffee." Favorite track: Praise Poems.

It seems that every piece of sound from both Chicago & Detroit are exactly how it should be done. The atmosphere of techno with acid and jazz, sexy dark vocals. Glenn just knows stuff man. Favorite track: 3. Bending & Stretching (GU's Garden) - Glenn Underground vs CVO.

    montgomery word thumbnail
montgomery word this album is loved so dearly.
reminds me of what i loved about moondog, a vibe that is so seldomly found in music. not to say this is “like moondog” either, bc it is entirely it’s own thing. i listen to this album by accident three times often, before i realize it ended. thank you so much for this. my spirit needed it. Favorite track: Festival of Humanity.
