Scott This is guitar ambience that doesn't settle for draping the listener with cloying, inactive drones like a warm weighted blanket - this music achieves its calming effect by opening things up just enough to relieve any pressure I'm feeling. "Miss'd" fills the room with its clean tones while simultaneously creating the effect of it being a much larger space than it is when at high volume.

The record has a cleaner sound than one might expect from color vinyl and was well-protected for mailing. Favorite track: Miss'd.

This record from his Free Dust project is a match made in heaven.

    [20 Trs.] [1h17m45s]

    Tracks 01, 06, 07, 11 to 14 and 18 set a 33m17s wonderful analog kosmische travel across the 70's.

The rest of the tracks shows 44m27s of analog and digital sound splendor from the 80's.

A very nice compilation from a past who never ceases to live into the future.

(My unique con: Pyrolator's "Minimal 1-8" [Tr. 18] deserves a fade out).

    Favorite track: Abendlicht.

    Tensen Park thumbnail
Tensen Park Lately, I've been listening almost exclusively to electronic music and this album. Every time I put it on, it feels like the perfectly human and organic plunge I didn't know I needed Favorite track: All Right.
    ghosttropics thumbnail
ghosttropics Genuinely the most refreshing instrumental album I've heard this year, and has me wondering: is post jazz a thing now?

Echoes of early Tortoise/Jeff Parker, Eli Keszler, Sam Gendel's more experimental works. But it is mostly it's very own creature which seems to have crawled directly from the primordial soup of the collective unconscious, emerging bright eyed and eager to explore in a new world, as if to say "where to next?".
