Celebrating I have a love/hate relationship with the Slowcore adjacent side of indie rock. This record is the best Slowcore I’ve ever heard in my life. Oftentimes my critique of the genre comes from the lack of work ethic or inspiration besides “sad”, but this record captures a side of the human experience in a way that transcends a label as limiting as “sad”. Besides the art of the songwriting, the production is brilliant. Raw and clear. Thank you, friends. Favorite track: (Untitled) Cowboy.
