Dave Aftandilian There is no light. There is no hope. We look to the heavens for solace, but see only blackness. Weighed down by the endless suffering of existence and our many sins, we hate everything, ourselves most of all. Say goodbye now.

Antifascist Black Metal Network "On our side is yet once more oceanic, Atlantic, their music resounding from Ireland to give a helping hand to those who drown in the swamps of despair that the powerful try to shove us into. Their drums beat in fury as righteous as those who fight apartheid and genocide in Palestine, their guitars a torch as bright as the rainbows that spring from every country against LGBT erasure." abmn.noblogs.org/atlantic-timeworn/
    Sleeping Villager thumbnail
Sleeping Villager Dredged from the tumultuous sea, wind-swept and salt-sprayed and sodden. It feels intricate and occasionally intimate, while still referencing an unfathomable and unknowable expanse. A beautiful and surging album.

    Obsidian One thumbnail
Obsidian One The opening of 'Age of Chains' is a breath of fresh air in black metal — atmospheric, melodic, epic. The music has a different feel than most in the genre: less dark and more fantasy, though still intense at times with icy guitar riffs and cold blast beats. I like the bright-colored cover art, with no logo or text, and the title of the fifth track, 'Behold the Shadow of My Thoughts', is great as well. Favorite track: Age of Chains.
    Jana thumbnail
Jana Welcome to the magic world of J.R.R. Tolkien, I mean its darker side, of course 😉 This album promises an intense experience to look forward to by all lovers of epic black metal and strong storytelling. I'd like to highlight its excellent production and memorable riffs, as well as collaboration with names as Hulder and Lamp of Murmuur. And yes, it's possible to make lead synth that doesn't sound cheesy 😁 Favorite track: Behold the Shadow of My Thoughts.
    Sid thumbnail
Sid A refreshing surprise. This album has the ferocity that black metal is known for, but has a little bit of the melodic and dungeon synth aspect of it sprinkled in as well. Musically, this album reminds me of Hrad, Caladan Brood, and Stormruler.

The Tolkien lyrical themes are also really neat. Favorite track: Of Desperate Valor.
