    mike smiddy thumbnail
mike smiddy This is literally the best album ever. I was unable to appreciate it with the vocals, but Vildhjarta is officially the heir of Meshuggah, the new trendsetter of the genre, with this one... Un-fucking-fathomable riffage, so unique, even the tunings are revolutionary at times. Certainly a bit more "mature" than their past work, but therein lies its genius. Favorite track: + kristallfågel + (instrumentaal).

    Alex Ketner thumbnail
Alex Ketner Picked up their self-titled not too long ago, and absolutely fell in love. A powerful voice paired with hard hitting lyrics. "Clairvoyant" puts a new spin on this with a soft acoustic up and down rhythm but still holding onto those lyrics that hit the low points of your soul and somehow bring lift you back up. If you're unsure about this band give this a listen, and move onto their other stuff. Favorite track: Clairvoyant.
    Tom Pickens thumbnail
Tom Pickens The Story so Far have become the New Found Glory of todays youth. I, being 24, grew up in the prime of bands like NFG and Blink 182. So it is truly exciting that those bands still going as well as new young ones like TSSF. Jordan from NFG also did the album art for Under Soil and Dirt. I find that awesome. Some torch passing probably happening imo. Favorite track: Clairvoyant.
