    freethecrusader thumbnail
freethecrusader Such a fantastic record. I hate how it isn't as brought up as his 2 most recent because this is a quality piece of work. Favorite track: Never Will Know.
    angrypizza98 thumbnail
angrypizza98 Mckinley's first masterpiece for me. Although I do find his newest output to be more consistent (I own B,P,J and Magic, Alive!) This one is his most cohesive and introspective work. 9/10 Favorite track: Never Will Know.
    nathalie thumbnail
nathalie Basslines so smooth they punched me in the face and I said thank you. Favorite track: make a poet Black.

  4. Rolodex
    by French Cassettes
    supported by
    desertdriver thumbnail
desertdriver I found this album in the late spring of 2021. My grandmother died a week before my highschool graduation, and I had to put my cat down a month later. These songs have gotten me through the last year and a half of my life, genuinely. They make me feel so happy and sad all at once, and I think without them my summer would have been much worse. That same summer, I took a roadtrip with my grandfather to Utah, so really I think this album and I were meant to be. Thanks :) Favorite track: Utah.
    dianadaniels thumbnail

    Joshuah Stolaroff thumbnail
Joshuah Stolaroff I waited so long for French Cassettes to make another album, I can hardly believe our collective good fortune that they did it! This is a great follow-up.

    Gregory Flatt thumbnail
Gregory Flatt A lot of releases claim a 90s alternative influence, but this is the first I’ve heard in a while that makes me hear and (more importantly) feel it. Channels sorrow, grief, and anger into something heartbreaking, sweet, true, and ultimately beautiful. Favorite track: Star String Radio.

    T. Super thumbnail
    T. Super Homegirl was the first song I loved off this album, but not the last. Cola Boyy's lyrics, song structures, voice all next level. The production is both advanced and organic, adding to Cola Boyy's great songs w/o overwhelming them. Perfect LP. LP of 2025 candidate for sure. Amazing artist, gone way too soon. RIP. Favorite track: Homegirl.
