Joe Murphy I can't tell you how many hours of my life over the past two decades have been spent listening to the Sea Horse on repeat. I can tell you Sea Horse on repeat is one of my favorite places to be, listening, captured, in that perpetual moment. Favorite track: The Sea Horse.
    N Klein thumbnail
N Klein This album is truly wonderful and helped me immensely during Lockdown 2020. Thank you for pressing this on vinyl🙏 Favorite track: How Some Jellyfish Are Born.

smoore_2001 This album transports you so fully to a place almost outside of time. Transcendant yet tranquil. Favorite track: Late Autumn.
    Robert Kyte thumbnail
Robert Kyte It is exciting to listen to something on the edge of collapse. Sputtering into being & evolving. To be a passenger on a musical journey, a witness to improvisation. These IV inspirational players are the wheels on this creative juggernaut of a vehicle, overdriving the headlights and not wearing seatbelts. This is jazz which does not obey speed limits, immaculate & dangerous. It is not hard to understand why Flea wanted Mr. Parker and company to be the band around his solo album.
    More, please! Favorite track: Freakadelic.
    tzyb thumbnail
tzyb I love this album so much. The intimate sound, the meditative minimalism. It’s mesmerising, grounded and uplifting at the same time. Thank you. Favorite track: Freakadelic.

D_Boult The sound of my youth reimagined. Just beautiful. What a absolute treat.
    Cone thumbnail
Cone A bizarre idea even on paper, but the commitment and effort put into translating Autechre's iconic 90's material to acoustic form is very impressive. Favorite track: Slip.
    Justin Patrick Moore thumbnail
Justin Patrick Moore Acoustic alchemy meets electronic origins in this instant favorite!

    Terrence Falconer thumbnail
Terrence Falconer That's how you immediately grab attention: by creating an eye-catching cover art and apt album title. That alone instantaneously made me wanna buy this album.

    Lovdahl, Ian thumbnail
Lovdahl, Ian Everything from this group is a special gift, and this album is no different. I’ve cherished the music of Ahmed Abdul-Malik for years now after reading about him in Africa Speaks, America Answers, and the fact that these incredible musicians honor him with such compelling compositions, it’s a spark in a dark cave. I’m so glad this exists. Favorite track: El Haris [Anxious].
    𝕋𝕨𝕚𝕤𝕥𝕖𝕕𝕤𝕠𝕦𝕝 thumbnail
𝕋𝕨𝕚𝕤𝕥𝕖𝕕𝕤𝕠𝕦𝕝 This is one of those incredible albums that feels like it just appeared out of thin air, only to blow my mind away completely! When أحمد [Ahmed]—the quartet of Seymour Wright (alto sax), Pat Thomas (piano), Joel Grip (bass), and Antonin Gerbal (drums)—step into سماع [Sama’a] (Audition), they don’t just play compositions. They dismantle them, scatter their fragments across the room, and rebuild them into towering structures of repetition and frenzy. Favorite track: Ya Annas [Oh, People].
