  1. The Live Story
by Steve Roach & Vidna Obmana
    supported by
    murlesmusic thumbnail
murlesmusic Echoes of SHAIVURAD pulse through this live ritual — deeply resonant and timeless. Honored to support.
    Favorite track: Portland 5.
    Clanging Replicator thumbnail
Clanging Replicator I imagine a hot night almost 28 years ago in Milwaukee. Steve & Dirk lock in from the first moments. It is resonating strongly all these years later. This is a treasure trove to explore. Favorite track: Milwaukee 1.
    Brian Romer thumbnail
Brian Romer can each concert be released as a single uninterrupted file? bandcamp has annoying pops between tracks
    CJ Bury thumbnail
CJ Bury I don't have a favorite track (really they function as complete shows) but I highly recommend this one for all into tribal ambient. Excellent! Favorite track: Portland 1.

  2. Crossing the Bridge - Live in Boulder
    by Steve Roach
    supported by
    Progressive Music Planet thumbnail
Progressive Music Planet One of Steve’s finest live performances. He opened for Blood Incantation and held the crowd in the palm of his hand. Favorite track: Crossing the Bridge - Compete Concert.
    Benjamin Murray thumbnail
Benjamin Murray I wish I was there.
Thanks Steve Roach 🙏🖤✨ Favorite track: Spirals and Portals.
    fyeahmetal thumbnail
fyeahmetal I was fortunate to have witnessed this set and cherish this audio document. While of course it lacks the 4d element of the actual experience, in headphones I hear details that I missed in the heat of the moment. It's all of Steve's career - the percolating synths, the tribal rhythms, the abstract beauty, the uncomfortable but delicious space - compressed into an hour, but it works. Those cheers you hear are real, and I was one of them. Favorite track: The Magnificent Beyond.

  3. Skeleton - Spiral Passage - Extended Version - Live In Tucson 02-14-15
    by Steve Roach
    supported by
    Gary Figueroa thumbnail
Gary Figueroa I've spliced this onto the end of 'Spiral Revelations' to add some extra wow factor to an already stellar recording in the 'Berlin School' style of electronics. Spellbinding.

    Dave Aftandilian thumbnail
Dave Aftandilian As someone who has also been actively working at various pursuits for 30 years (or more…sigh), it warms my heart to experience the freshness and creativity in this lovely tribal ambience while also seeing it remain true to lifelong artistic visions. Listening takes me deeply into the heart of the now, and actually makes me want to be here. Thanks to both musicians also for making this music available for free: may your gift of love be returned a thousandfold.
    dag_nabbhett thumbnail
dag_nabbhett Everything you would expect from the names above the title, but there's a lot of it, it's 24/96, and the production values keep it interesting. Thanks, guys.

  5. Cloud Ornament
by Robert Rich and Luca Formentini
    supported by
    Ullip thumbnail
    Paul Asbury Seaman thumbnail
Paul Asbury Seaman One of the top ambient albums of 2024, it strikes the perfect balance of unobtrusive and delightful, sometimes breathtaking in its musical beauty and the obvious sensitivity of two seasoned artists spontaneously responding to the other. Unlike the endless droning of so many so-called sleep albums, Cloud Ornament is a genuine musical accomplishment, spiritually healing and nurturing while, yes, gently putting you to sleep. Or for other relaxing/meditative purposes, as needed. Favorite track: Lamplight Chime.
    d york thumbnail
d york My goodness, this album is deep. So deep, in fact, it takes a while to sink in. But once you're in, you're in deep... ❤️ Favorite track: Cloud Ornament - All.

    Lord Dubious thumbnail
Lord Dubious More otherworldly vibes from Shabazz. No big concept here but hella features, all adding to the spacey vibes. At 24 minutes it feels a little incomplete, but I’ll take what I can get. Favorite track: Gel Bait (feat. Geechi Suede).
