John Madsen One of the most beautiful recordings of Indian Classical music I've heard. I've always loved ZM Dagar's recording of Raga Yaman on Nimbus and I think this surpasses it. *Very* highly recommended. Favorite track: Raga Yaman Kalyan - Alap.

Myron472 I'm glad that Sleep published their music on Bandcamp. Especially this magnum opus of theirs. Truly the classic of stoner metal. Favorite track: Dopesmoker.

John Cratchley Just outstanding music...magnificent compositions played by a band on fire and with so much potential to deliver more...
That this Septet couldn’t fly for longer is a tragedy and, perhaps, a prescient comment on the pitiful shortcomings of Cultural Investment in contemporary music in the UK in the 80’s (and up to this present day, unfortunately)...Keith Tippett was a unique and precious jewel and gone too soon...that this live document survives needs to be acknowledged and celebrated, I think.

Nick Moys The interplay between the horns in Part 2 is sublime, but then the whole of the suite is wonderful. Favorite track: "A loose kite..." Part 2.

John Cratchley Now he is gone...and we shall not look upon his like again. I think music is a window into the soul...if you are prepared to listen to this music (and all the rest that Keith Tippet composed or played) you will see a truly generous and good human being...in my experience, they are few and far between. He left his indelible mark and, unknown to him, he made a huge difference to me. You cannot do more than that. What a gift...the best we can do in return is to keep on listening with gratitude.
