    buffalohump77 thumbnail
buffalohump77 As a massive Big Black and Rapeman fan, I'm very pleased to have this version of my favorite Fugazi recording with Albini's unique talents added to the mix. RIP Steve. Favorite track: Facet Squared (Albini Session).
    valse_muziek thumbnail
valse_muziek Fugazi feels like my favourite band yet i always failed to connect with their studio albums (except end hits but thats just for sentimental values). But in a way this session just clicks with me. Call it albini favourism but for me it just works! The way they just skip the bullshit and keep all the space for the song is just amazing in a way that feels normal but ingeneeal it just isn’t. Albini is a master in keeping the essence alive and thats exactly what a band like fugazi needs.

blazecat86 There's some demo performances from New Caves & History Speaks on YouTube distributed by Demolisten, they're super neat! I love the harmonium in that version of this track. History Speaks is an incredible first album, I don't think there's a single Deep Sea Diver song that I don't love. Keep rocking on! Favorite track: Why Must A Man Change.
    nofatclips thumbnail
nofatclips 1st listen: a phenomenal debut, so articulate, so enjoyable, so many memorable moments! Favorite track: The Watchmen.
    shaun mouton thumbnail
shaun mouton Got the FLAC download from Bandcamp, put on some hifi headphones with a decent headphone amp and completely changed my listening experience of this album. I love being able to hear Jessica's voice cutting through the mix in a very different way than the normal digital format gives. Great album, lots of depth, get it. Favorite track: Keep It Moving.

The Tonearm "What I'm trying to say here is that all of those things share these shadowy yet inviting characteristics that I fell in love with as a teenager. So I didn't know exactly how my record was going to turn out, but as soon as I started down that path, everything started forming. I wanted to make my version of that world."

DJ Joey Santos One of my favorite indie rock albums in 2025. Past Lives is a highlight, but the entire album is a fantastic listen start to finish. Favorite track: Past Lives (feat. Hayley Williams).
    cai thumbnail
cai I have a pavlovian response to Jim Adkins' voice where I feel the overwhelming need to stare forlornly out of the passenger-side window of a moving car.

Flawless writing & production across the whole album. Favorite track: Float (feat. Jim Adkins).
