José Lezama Duque With another body of water in the cover, Margo delights us with more music. I love the tom-heavy piece about family history. A lot of her lyrics resonated with my personal history too. Favorite track: Mother Told Her Mother Told Me.

veenstar This ain't Texas. This ain't Nashville. This is country that straddles the US and Canadian border. Its wide open, strong, and a little vulnerable, and in a lot of cases having a good ol' time. I love her feel. Favorite track: Beggar for Your Love.

sutebensan Just turned on to Margo and I'm really glad I did. Valley of Heart's Delight is a solid recording from top to bottom. The songwriting is sophisticated and Ciker's voice is something to behold. Beggar for Your Love is my favorite cut so far, and the lyric "You can get a good line to hold up a song if the rhyme's right," although simple, is damn close to perfect. Looking forward to seeing her and her band live real soon. Favorite track: Beggar for Your Love.
