    djulvincent Hello Lisa,
My name is Julien, I am writing to you today to thank you for all these beautiful melodies that haunt me, for my greatest happiness! U've always been part of my universe, I've always loved your way of playing, your singing, your romantic languorous side.... I listen to your album 'Collage' while writing to you and I wanted to thank you for having shared some of your intimacy, I feel like I'm sitting next to you, I feel like I'm in one of your dreams, I am over the moon!
    Thank you!

MD's Music Exchange As someone who has had his ear on Lisa Coleman since 1980, she can do no wrong. It's no small feat to leave me winded nearly 30 years later but 'Prophet 3' did just that. 'Balloon' and 'I've Got a Big Bowl of Cherries' are other breathtaking compositions from prior releases. Favorite track: Prophet 3.

Trider Daveed Diggs is unmatched in his lyrical talent. Compelling story, varied tracks, intense atmosphere. Great album. Favorite track: Story 5.
    lightspiritblix thumbnail
lightspiritblix Story rich, seamless, positively loaded with hope and despair and weird noises, tied together with Daveed's immaculate vocals Favorite track: Air 'Em Out.
    t0cktock thumbnail
t0cktock Otherworldly dark textures musically, atmospherically and lyrically. Sparse on beats, it's a ride on a haunted space ship destined for doomsday. It's hip-hop's modern-day take on Pink Floyd's "Dark Side Of The Moon". Favorite track: Wake Up.

t0cktock I spent my New Year's hangover listening to "Sky Mall" on repeat, when I discovered my new favorite bass player. "Fugue State" is what you get if the Muscle Shoals musicians took a break to noodle around on Bach and eventually became my wake-up alarm. "First Place" reminds me of that scene in "Clerks" where Randal walks into the "good" adult video store. Favorite track: Sky Mall.

nathan_ginese Every track on this album goes hard. 10/10 recommend it Favorite track: Sky Mall.
    musicandmyth thumbnail
musicandmyth The funk is strong with this one. It's so analog, granulated, and crisp it makes you feel like a vintage tape machine. Favorite track: Sky Mall.

Em My fav Swans album for sure. It's a haunting album that also goes hard. I feel like this is the perfect inbetween for early Swans and whatever tf they were on in the 90s. It holds such aggression similar to that of Children of God but it has a gripping energy that I also feel is present in later albums like Soundtracks for the Blind. It's hard to explain. But this is such an incredible, powerful, and heavy album that I can't stop listening to... Favorite track: Killing For Company.
    guinivere_onnava thumbnail
guinivere_onnava Yeah I really love this album. It's always such an easy listen despite how many songs there are and it's really the best thing Swans had released up to that point. It has such a unique and dark sound to it and feels like they've taken everything they've learned and made to make something that combines their folk and industrial stuff they've been doing. I also really love how Jarboe gets to shine here. All her moments on this album are amazing.

    9.5/10 Favorite track: Mother_Father.
