Crinklechips I’m not going to lie. I was never going to purchase this for $7. Now its a very reasonable $1 and I get to keep my Osees collection up to date. Score!

Love the drum assault on this one!

Xtra Happy Another offcut offering from Osees, this time in a punchy krautrock jam style from the "Protean Threat" sessions. A great bassline with both drumkits keeping a tight pace, and a cool riff that transitions from guitar to synth.

You can hear the evolution of the synths becoming more prominent in their sound here, as the song transitions at around the midway point from full band-based to full synth-based.

A great deep cut, especially now it's a little more reasonably priced for a digital single.

Xtra Happy Really great spaced out jam; shame it's not on an album, but then again we may have never heard it at all.

The low and slow bassline backed by the steady peace of the drums and the spacey synth could easily act as a good piece to sleep to; the lurid, blaring guitar solo that also plays over most of it sorta prevents that by keeping you wide awake and on your toes, but it all comes together for a helluva trip through the inky black of the cosmos.
