0jp1 Fantastic mood. Love the upbeat vibe and don't mind the live recording one bit. Favorite track: New Beastly.
    Rooby2k thumbnail
Rooby2k Vulf is in a new era, favoring the tasty vocal soul and R&B tracks over the deep funk instrumentals that gave them their platform in the first place—and I’m absolutely here for it. Tracks like "La Gioconda", "Big Dipper", and "In Real Life" along with the addition of Jacob Jeffries to the vocal dept. of the collective sees the group move in a direction that is paying off, and I truly find this to be among their best and their best record of new music since "Hill Climber”. Favorite track: La Gioconda.

    maxlphillips RATING: 9.1/10 (9.10)

With a newly refined emphasis on melody, Godspeed’s sixth studio album – whilst being slightly more sonically reserved than previous releases – offers an experience with far more structural cohesion than the releases post-hiatus up until this point. Whilst it’s not their best, this is easily Godspeed’s most overhated project.

BEST SONG: Anthem For No State, Pt. III
WORST SONG: none Favorite track: Anthem For No State, Pt. III.
    KosmikArtz thumbnail
KosmikArtz All the three parts of this song are great on their own, but listening them together builds up an otherwordly experience that reaches its climax on this third part. One of the best works of GY!BE in my opinion. Favorite track: Bosses Hang, Pt. III.
    Valo thumbnail
Valo Some of the most beautiful electronic music out there. This album means a lot to me, in some inexplicable way. Favorite track: Anthem For No State, Pt. I.

Outlaw Bookseller Seeing The Big Tusk live was a resurrective experience: meshing free improvisation, jazz, electronica, post-rock and cinematic soundtracks, I was reminded of Miles Davis, Jon Hassel, Ennio Morricone and David Sylvian and many more. When you're as old and jaded as I am and music of the 21st century screams 'This has been done before,' The Big Tusk come along and offer something timeless yet contemporary. Sublime. Favorite track: Ikigai.

Funky1two In Touch type sounds... Good for the musical health forward. Can't wait to hear the next track. Favorite track: Sin Hablar.
    leptons thumbnail
leptons Deep funk jazz album with compositions full of colour and yet meaningful structures. The difference with respect to other albums of the same field? It gets emotional, human, and compositions have structure and not only virtuosism, solos, application of rules.
