caleb hella fast and heavy Favorite track: Golden Mouth of Ruin.
    coda thumbnail
coda In my mind one of, if not the greatest tech-death albums ever made. Not only are the riffs addictively brutal and technical, they throw a curveball by incorporating classical and orchestral melodies and phrases. Extremely hard to pick a favourite, I could listen to any one of them all day. Super excited to see these guys in April. Favorite track: A.U.M..
    thekurtaction thumbnail
thekurtaction Alien and superhuman are adjectives that come to mind. Maybe the clearest distillation of what makes Tech Death such an exciting genre. And yes, they can play this live! Favorite track: Drone Corpse Aviator.

    ReflectoR72 LIFE is LIFE
LAIBACH is LAIBACH Favorite track: Fluid Emancipation.
    JL_NRN_ thumbnail
JL_NRN_ This is dark, seriously creepy. Borderline illegal. The stuff of real world nightmares. Gone are the days of the cheerful tunes of Rekapitulacija. No more Nova Akropola and all those annoying radio hits.

For all Laibach fans getting (mu)sick of all that tik tok friendly cr*p, here comes the most disturbing work of experimental multimedia art this side of Du Hast. Listen at your own risk. With headphones. If you value yourself, your job and your loved ones. You have been warned. Favorite track: Luigi Mangione.
    etoert thumbnail
etoert It would be nice to hear one of the Songs at the Eurovision Song Contest :-)

diamondandthemarinas Imagine my delight when I am listening to a track by Ada Rook and clock the use of a childhood favorite, Shooting Star by BANG! Classic happy hardcore? In MY industrial? Sheer screaming joy. Favorite track: shooting siblings.
    pekkachunreal thumbnail
pekkachunreal That stupid mouse delivered once again an album without a single song that’s „just ok“, choosing a favorite here is pretty hard. Favorite track: NEEDLED 24/7.

Laniakea - Part 1. The Great Attractor; Part 2. The Zone of Avoidance; Part 3. Dark Energy Laniakea - Part 1. The Great Attractor; Part 2. The Zone of Avoidance; Part 3. Dark Energy

    doive thumbnail
doive Alongside Midnight Odyssey, Inherits the Void and Darkspace this stands as one of the greatest Space Black Metal bands in my current loop ♫ .. It had been quite a while since I last could put a bunch of albums on constant repeat for days without feeling it was time for a change. Mesarthim's music is complex yet approachable, extreme but varied and rich. This one will remain within my favourites for quite some time. Laniakea steadily towers above all of Mesarthim releases so far. Favorite track: Laniakea - Part 1. The Great Attractor; Part 2. The Zone of Avoidance; Part 3. Dark Energy.
    Nocturnal Egg (Jordan) thumbnail
Mesarthim vise l'excellence. Favorite track: The Degenerate Era.
    Brian Parker thumbnail
Brian Parker Black Space Metal or Cosmic Black Metal? Don’t know, but I love this band. Unique. Favorite track: The Degenerate Era.

Anders Kvistr I love the epic, symphonic turn they took for this album. Stellar composition and atmosphere, literally. Favorite track: ..---.
    Emery thumbnail
Emery The instrumentation and composition really make this feel epic. When I listen I feel like I am wandering alone, finding never before seen wonders in far out in space--this album captures epic beauty and haunting loneliness.

    scumdrug thumbnail
scumdrug definetely one of my favourite bm projects lately, love the synth elements Favorite track: Floating.
    Nocturnal Egg (Jordan) thumbnail
Favorite track: Abyss.

A Fate Worse Than Home A Fate Worse Than Home
    supported by
    Luke thumbnail
Luke This album has been on my periphery for a while and I never really looked at it. I think I had got the impression that is was another soft blackgaze-y kind of thing (I have enough of that). But I got my wires crossed, because this goes hard! Angry anarchist black metal but with a spacey quality which makes it interesting as well as righteous. Happy to be corrected.
    Tom Shepherd thumbnail
Tom Shepherd Fresh sounding progressive black metal for both voracious head- nodding and psychedelic contemplation. Immersive and highly recommended - one of my albums of 2023. Favorite track: The Creature.
    Daria S. thumbnail
Daria S. Fantastically beautiful black metal with equally beautiful album art. Don't sleep on this one! Favorite track: A Fate Worse Than Home.
