münztayne beautiful with a camellia drop that wraps it all up nicely
    GarlicBiscuit thumbnail
GarlicBiscuit This song really doesn't get enough credit for how tall it stands against the best of Camellia's works. The way that jazzy breakcore progresses and grows throughout is simply mesmerizing. Right up there with beasts like Nacreous Snowmelt for how insane they are.

    münztayne i love his vocals!
    GarlicBiscuit thumbnail
GarlicBiscuit Even by Camellia's standards, this is one of his strangest and most sporadic songs. Despite that, I still adore it for a lot of small elements that add together. Camellia's vocals are at their best here, and some of those melodic progressions are heavenly.
    loplkc thumbnail
loplkc A strong, although melodically unusual single that holds up well to the Camellia standard.

Murphrygian Like much of my collection, I had this on Amazon for years. Fuck Amazon. Even the guy on the cover is shooting them the bird. The artists on this classic deserve to actually get paid for their efforts.
    Obsidian One thumbnail
Obsidian One I remember reading a review in a magazine that said this album was so technical that people twenty years down the road would still be discussing it. Well, it's been almost twenty years, and Obscura is still one of the most complex, challenging, and difficult albums in my collection. I like to revisit it every now and then, and 'Nostalgia' remains my favorite track, though the opening riffs of tracks 1 and 7 are great as well. A classic death metal album that has been with me for years. Favorite track: Nostalgia.
    terrariancloud thumbnail
terrariancloud One of the most mind-splitting, genre-defining, most-confusing yet incredible death metal album of all time, and I'm not exaggerating. Also has one of the best bass tones of all time in any genre. I recommend this to absolutely everyone who is into the metal genre at all; absolutely phenomenal stuff. Favorite track: Nostalgia.

Trveheimer The ever working Membaris keep refining their Sound and their Approach to Philosophical Themes As a Year Long Fan I think its stunning that they remain a Footnote.. They kept releasing stellar Material since the Masterpiece "Grenzgänger" and the Black Metal Community seems to not care at large..
    sashavonkarl74 thumbnail
sashavonkarl74 Oh what a great blend here! Juicy bass line solos in a calm moment before the occult invocations of total black metal chaos, this is what this new opus from German act Membaris brings to you. This is also their 6th LP so they are truly veterans and it shows in the top quality and mature song writing. Highly recommended FFO avant-garde / post BM of the finest kind. Would love to see them live with Königreichssal!! Favorite track: SIGIL II (Star ritual).
