Why are these men still alive?
    cinnamondestroyer thumbnail
cinnamondestroyer I got my 7" vinyl from Australia today and I've played it 3 times already. Damn this is a great EP. "A gun saved a life" is never in the news" is an excellent lyric.
Rolling drums, a strong scratchy voice, a constantly moving bass and guitars trying to chime their way through you while somehow sounding tough and playing odd melodies that bore their way into your big head the whole time. I think I paid $22 postage and I'm still happy I own it. Favorite track: The Shooter.

elbcamp777 Twin Peak vibes and a precursor to Diamond Jubilee; a masterpiece.
    voydist thumbnail
voydist the soundtrack to my dreams. flegel's love for film is evident with this aspirational score of heartbreak and the ever-lurking darkness surrounding it. I'm a cindy superfan, yet this is the one I've listened to the most. Favorite track: Love Remains.

    Jim Kartoffel-Kopf thumbnail
Jim Kartoffel-Kopf Had the pleasure of experiencing Mr Steer's incredible bonkers set at Supersonic festival this year - he didn't disappoint, and this album is as close to that as you can set down on vinyl. Favorite track: Seeedpod.

Oli Vert an incredible document. mountain AM transmissions with interference from the the noise realm. Favorite track: The Blackest Crow.
    Lars Gotrich thumbnail
Lars Gotrich Daniel Bachman recommended this wonderfully bizarre album to me at the very beginning of 2025. Mountain music beamed from faulty transistor radios, where jigs are danced on noise tables. newsletter.vikingschoice.org/archive/do-you-remember-what-the-music-meant/ Favorite track: Kingdom Come.

vampiricgerms Don’t bother buying a physical copy of this. Ordered in April 2025 and still haven’t received. Label owner has yet to respond to messages I’ve sent about this, but has responded on Facebook after being called out. Unfortunately, it seems like lip service, as he’s responded multiple times the records were shipping in the next week, yet still nothing.

UPDATE: it’s 4/16/2026 and still no record. I guess they were carried off by the UFOs the label owner has time and money to “research”.
    rosemary___woodhouse thumbnail
rosemary___woodhouse After over a year, the physical copy of this was never sent (or maybe even made?). The track has been on YouTube for a long time anyways. The official Reddit page for Volar Records is active daily, posting obsessively about UFOs and extra-terrestrials. This label’s actions totally disrespect their customers, and the legacy of the artist. Have reported it to Bandcamp, but heard nothing back. This dude doesn’t deserve your hard earned money. Don’t do it :(
    magicvectorplan thumbnail
magicvectorplan It would be nice to get an update on the vinyl shipping plan. It's been three months since the last update.
