sashavonkarl74 French atmospheric / melodic black metal that reminds me of Swedish Unanimated, with lots of tremolo riffs and really fast paced "dry" drumming, probably due to the one-man show programming and putting things together in production. Some solo guitar and synth intervals pause the frenetic pace before drums and vocals start again. Mournful chords mix with swaying tempos keep things original and flowing without boring me. Highly recommended! Favorite track: Sullen Laments Of The Wanderers.

Lorenzo Stunning one-man atmospheric French black metal incorporating a triumphant melodic approach. Expanding from past sounds to touch upon earlier melodeath and a defined Swedish sound, Scars Of Yesteryears brings forth journey-like songs brimming with vitality.

Hollow I can't be more amazed by this album. Each song is a whole different journey. Such a great release! Favorite track: Ashes Of Grievance.

Fuzzy Cracklins (Best Music Newsletter) From the ashes of loss comes a truly epic album. The despair in the music, the incredible vocals, and I always dig long songs. One of the most fan-focused bands there is. 🤘🐊 Favorite track: Absentia (Feat. Tim Yatras).

Kris Faust Black/doom metal where the powerful and emotive vocal performance takes front and center. Atmospheric passages provide a vast canvas for the songs while the symphonic elements and piano add a cinematic impact to the sorrowful melodies. An album and band that should be talked about more. Favorite track: Echoes Of Quiet Remain (Feat. Aaron Stainthorpe).

Funeral Fog PHENOMENAL atmospheric blackened doom. Seriously dark melodies and a sound quality that must be heard (yes, it's that damn good). Easily a 5/5!
