bmurator French Atmospheric Black Metal. This is unbelievably intense & when you stop to consider that it is this one man, Antoine Scholtès, project's debut EP, then... :) Believe me, what he has produced since has gone from strength to strength & his latest offering which has just come out is even better! Antoine is an extremely high level & talented artist & I could not recommend this EP more!!!

doive Real quality and musicianship right here, one of the greatest black metal albums of all time!
    bmurator thumbnail
bmurator French Atmospheric Black Metal. Of the kind that pummels you into the ground & does not allow you to get up again. The only break you get is the interval between the songs... :) I love the cover too! The man responsible for this project, Antoine Scholtès, takes you on a ride to a distant planet - if only I could stay there... Highly recommended!!!
    Dave Aftandilian thumbnail
Dave Aftandilian With fearful eyes we look to the heavens. Shards of searing white light hammer down upon us while the bowels of the earth roar and crumble beneath us. Screaming our rage and despair at the end of all things, our voices merge into one focused chorus of pulsing lament that pierces the Void and charts our path home.

    sashavonkarl74 thumbnail
sashavonkarl74 French atmospheric / melodic black metal that reminds me of Swedish Unanimated, with lots of tremolo riffs and really fast paced "dry" drumming, probably due to the one-man show programming and putting things together in production. Some solo guitar and synth intervals pause the frenetic pace before drums and vocals start again. Mournful chords mix with swaying tempos keep things original and flowing without boring me. Highly recommended! Favorite track: Sullen Laments Of The Wanderers.

𝕽𝖔𝖓𝖓𝖎𝖊 𝕿𝖍𝖊 𝕳𝖔𝖗𝖓𝖊𝖉 As a 90's Swedish Melodic Black/Death Metal vibe fan, I can only be satisfied : this album is a pure wonder and the whole thing blew me away ! Simply a masterpiece. Favorite track: While The Night Seizes Of The Burning Sun.

    Lorenzo thumbnail
Lorenzo Stunning one-man atmospheric French black metal incorporating a triumphant melodic approach. Expanding from past sounds to touch upon earlier melodeath and a defined Swedish sound, Scars Of Yesteryears brings forth journey-like songs brimming with vitality.
    Hollow thumbnail
Hollow I can't be more amazed by this album. Each song is a whole different journey. Such a great release! Favorite track: Ashes Of Grievance.
    bmurator thumbnail
bmurator French Atmospheric Black Metal. I have everything of ITV so far & I love it all! I fully expect this album to follow the upward trend & be even better than the previous! The three songs available so far say I am right... :) Highly recommended!!!

Edit: A superb album & perhaps the best one yet! I am going to need quite a few more repeats - just to make sure... 😉🤘🤘🤘

Fuzzy Cracklins (Best Music Newsletter) thumbnail
Fuzzy Cracklins (Best Music Newsletter) From the ashes of loss comes a truly epic album. The despair in the music, the incredible vocals, and I always dig long songs. One of the most fan-focused bands there is. 🤘🐊 Favorite track: Absentia (Feat. Tim Yatras).
    Kris Faust thumbnail
Kris Faust Black/doom metal where the powerful and emotive vocal performance takes front and center. Atmospheric passages provide a vast canvas for the songs while the symphonic elements and piano add a cinematic impact to the sorrowful melodies. An album and band that should be talked about more. Favorite track: Echoes Of Quiet Remain (Feat. Aaron Stainthorpe).
    Funeral Fog thumbnail
Funeral Fog PHENOMENAL atmospheric blackened doom. Seriously dark melodies and a sound quality that must be heard (yes, it's that damn good). Easily a 5/5!

    JT EXTREME thumbnail
JT EXTREME Black metal infused with death & doom, but the atmosphere here is DELIGHTFUL! Wall of synths, thick production, all 3 members share vocals and differ their vocal styles. A lot to unpack but it got the loins from the jump 🥩🎣 Real Good Stuff™️for 2026.
