yoverx This album is where I go in my mind. The rusted remnants of a town on the coast of a vast inland sea. My trip from the outer unlit edge to the inner bank. Don’t Wait for Me is what plays as I come to the shore beset in storm and stumble into my small shelter at the forest’s edge. It is the sound of my perseveration finally breaking and giving way to a bedraggled listlessness. And Val is the sound that comes as the storm passes, as I find clarity and start the trip back into town. Heavy recommend Favorite track: Don't Wait for Me.
    Jacqueline Jones thumbnail
Jacqueline Jones A mysterious and vague sci-fi story told through 10 awesome tracks that display gleaming triumph and an ominous darkness that cannot be beat. The short film really helps the album shine even more after watching. Favorite track: The Cross.

Mike / Avant Music News Imminent evokes a post-apocalyptic world in which broken machines are still awake and partially operational. Hints of warbling melodies accentuate the background droning, while indeterminate mechanical noises haunt each piece. There is little in the way of jagged dynamics, with tension implied more through atmosphere than dramatic contrast.

    Cultureplastic thumbnail
Cultureplastic Signal Fire expands upon the ideas and styles introduced in Dream Weapon only does it way better. There is a though line that can be traced all the way back to Cloak of Love and Laser Bitch with this album. Signal Fire is a little more cleaned up and mature perhaps. Very happy to hear new music and liking the direction its going! Cheers!
    palehorse666 thumbnail
palehorse666 while generally new to the cybergrind genre, with this album, I can see the potential. equal parts catchy and crushing. the industrial apocalypse is upon us. and it takes the form of a blasting, burning furnace of sound and fury. Favorite track: New Gods.
    freespazz thumbnail
freespazz Genghis Tron is doing some amazing things. Big fan of their direction, especially since Dream Weapon. Cant wait to hear the rest of Signal, as the opening release I am All is FIRE

positronicping Phenomenal progressive doom with death metal and traditional Iranian elements woven throughout. This is thunderous, beautiful music, with Saeidi's lyrics imbuing the mythical themes with such political urgency. Favorite track: May Your Ghost Drink Pure Water.
    Jesus Popcornius thumbnail
Jesus Popcornius It's been 2 years and still I'm impressed by how aesthetically dense and sophisticated the music is - Nina's undoubtedly unparalleled and the theme astutely chosen!

love & solidarity to all the oppressed

against imperialism & techbro dystopia Favorite track: Corruption on Earth.
    speiss_autarr thumbnail
speiss_autarr It is rare for me to get an album on my hands that I can listen to over and over from beginning to end without stopping/skipping or fidgeting.

Mysterious, ambitious, beautiful, awe-inspiring. So happy we are still getting such quality music in this day and age. Favorite track: May Your Ghost Drink Pure Water.

katsumashi one of my favourite albums I think :) this needs to be way more popular I can see a cult following forming around this album tbh Favorite track: The Advocate.
    Carsten Pieper thumbnail
Carsten Pieper Immensely rich album, maybe rooted in progressive metal (a tag the band themselves chose), but there's so much more to discover in this 60 plus minutes (including an orchestra and a choir). In fact, beneath all these layers (e.g. the vocal arrangements!), the prog-metallic ingredients (the drumming, the guitars) don't lead to a prog-metallic impression overall. The Advocate makes for a good example for their approach and can only be called majestic :-) Favorite track: The Advocate.
