    zaccfricktion thumbnail
zaccfricktion no other creator inspires me like jim does. his work is ethereal, and flawlessly weaved to his intentions.
    Facundo thumbnail
Facundo “You’re thinking on your feet, while you’re sitting there on your ass”.

I discovered him through a dear friend I recently met.

An amazing collection of songs, ranging from catchy, everyday passages to the sentimental soundscapes Jim so masterfully creates.
It broadened my perspective on what an album can be.

    thas2s thumbnail
thas2s This album proved to me that Cindy Lee is the most talented / exciting guitarist and project of the decade. This album really does feel like flegel has fully stepped into the persona of Cindy Lee, forgoing a lot of the production of previous albums that were more akin to stuff on women. “Diamond Jubilee” is a musical journey by the artist Cindy Lee, not Patrick flegel. ITS PERFECT! Favorite track: 24/7 Heaven.

UNLIMITED FREAKOUT IS LOVE. Jamal Moss with the real feel
    Massage Brain Cult thumbnail
Massage Brain Cult Thanks for your doing. This music it's so inspirational, also your djsets, big fun of your sound. Favorite track: The Disco's Of Imhotep.
    John Cratchley thumbnail
John Cratchley Sound healing? Yes, indeed!
    Nic Brown thumbnail
Nic Brown Jamal Moss (aka Hieroglyphic Being) has his finger in the pie if so many different genres it's almost impossible to think of him as a solo artist rather than some freewheeling production collective. His latest album "The Disco's Of Imhotep" finds him splicing just-shy-of industrial techno with something approaching free jazz although Moss himself would probably prefer to term it neo-futurist abstract expressionist or some other improbable appellation. It's no easy listen, that's for sure, but we buy Hieroglyphic Being records to be challenged and perplexed not soothed to sleep and that suits me just fine. Favorite track: Sepulchral Offerings.

    little visions thumbnail
little visions Goddam I love this album, but some songs like survive are timeless classics! The album has a continuous story like feeling , but the stories are simple and full of longing and emotional upheaval, love, loss , loneliness

    Gilliflower thumbnail
Gilliflower The moment I finally "got" Will Oldham's unique form of genius was when I heard this album playing in an Austin coffeeshop just before the turn of the millennium. I immediately went and bought the CD, of course. Nice to be able to easily grab this on vinyl here and now. Favorite track: Nomadic Revelry (All Around)
