DukeofBurgundy
Something of a labour of love by DJ Sam Don. Most of these tunes sound as if they were cut in the 80s mainly in London and for the underground soul scene. Very fine vocals and strong melodies driven by skilfully placed electronic rhythms predominant. There’s much to like especially a white label 12 inch ‘Passion’ by Taffy who along with Bô’vel and Kofi were just about the only names I knew.
