Rien ne semblait pouvoir arrêter les rouages de l'horloge au point où on approchait dangereusement de l'album qui devait servir de testament pour Oneohtrix Point Never. Mais Daniel Lopatin est bien un magicien et Again, collaboration entre lui et lui-même plus jeune, transcende le temps. Le chaos d'autrefois sert de piste de danse pour des souvenirs qui défilent dans un étrange ballet. C'est d'une beauté surnaturelle. Favorite track: A Barely Lit Path.

Impossible de savoir exactement quel est le mot manquant de Age Of, huitième album de Oneohtrix Point Never, mais si on suit cette logique de maturation personnelle, on peut penser que l'artiste américain décide de passer à l'âge adulte. Son electro expérimentale est toujours aussi variée — son imagination peut harmoniser baroque igorrrien, pop, country et folk — mais elle est surtout plus équilibrée et on prend plaisir à fredonner les chansons quand on les écoute. Charmant. Favorite track: Age Of.
