S This live album is perfection. It captures the live ambience, while holding true to the funkiness of Vulfpeck.

This recording has some of Vulfpecks best tracks at the time. This isn't just music, it's an experience! Favorite track: Birds of a Feather.

JB Choosing to go with choirs alongside frantic and catchy rhythms presented in this record is one of the most infectious ideas Vulfpeck might have ever had with their music.

The 70's-80's funk-pop theme remains strong throughout the whole album, making it one of those "unskippable songs" record for me, ranging from classic love songs like Tender Defender to more easy going ones like This is Not The Song I Wrote, without ever sacrificing some modern/fusion jazz and surf rock hints here and there. Favorite track: Big Dipper.

0jp1 Fantastic mood. Love the upbeat vibe and don't mind the live recording one bit. Favorite track: New Beastly.
    Rooby2k thumbnail
Rooby2k Vulf is in a new era, favoring the tasty vocal soul and R&B tracks over the deep funk instrumentals that gave them their platform in the first place—and I’m absolutely here for it. Tracks like "La Gioconda", "Big Dipper", and "In Real Life" along with the addition of Jacob Jeffries to the vocal dept. of the collective sees the group move in a direction that is paying off, and I truly find this to be among their best and their best record of new music since "Hill Climber”. Favorite track: La Gioconda.

  5. Fugue State

t0cktock I spent my New Year's hangover listening to "Sky Mall" on repeat, when I discovered my new favorite bass player. "Fugue State" is what you get if the Muscle Shoals musicians took a break to noodle around on Bach and eventually became my wake-up alarm. "First Place" reminds me of that scene in "Clerks" where Randal walks into the "good" adult video store. Favorite track: Sky Mall.

nathan_ginese Every track on this album goes hard. 10/10 recommend it Favorite track: Sky Mall.

musicandmyth The funk is strong with this one. It's so analog, granulated, and crisp it makes you feel like a vintage tape machine. Favorite track: Sky Mall.
