timkappa I discovered this band live and it was a purely insane experience. Weaver's Weft feels like you're actually in a dream. Can't praise Slift enough. Favorite track: Weavers' Weft.
    Colin M. thumbnail
Colin M. Atmospheric and unsettling, it feels much more sinister and foreboding than “Ummon” but no less brilliant of a journey. Favorite track: Nimh.
    Spud Sorceress thumbnail
Spud Sorceress Ilion is an amazing album, blending sci-fi and horror atmosphere into a complex, varied prog metal experience. If you haven’t heard Slift before, start with Ummon, but don’t sleep on this one.
Personally I prefer using Enter The Loop like an intermission between Confluence and Weaver’s Weft, but that’s a minor preference against such a unique album. Favorite track: The Words That Have Never Been Heard.

Brian Parker Everyone loves humping “Earth 2”, but I think this is probably their best METAL album. The soundtrack to a Frazetta painting. Favorite track: Torn By The Fox Of The Crescent Moon.
    monobri73 thumbnail
monobri73 All I can really say is THANK YOU Dylan & co. for bringing new, amazing, dense, deep and interesting music into my life.I first heard about Earth through listening to Mark Lanegan 's book "Sing Backwards and Weep",the mention from Mark and also learning of he and Dylan's closely honed friendship and brotherhood of many years peaked my interest and I knew eventually I'd be embarking on this journey of interdimensional sound."Primitive and Deadly" is a masterpiece!!!!! Favorite track: There Is A Serpent Coming.

beerjerk666 There Is A Serpent Coming (Lanegan was a vocal beast, RIP) and From A Zodiacal Light are just phenomenal tracks. Just have to turn up the volume for both of them.

spiderweb This is an incredible album: ecstatic, vigorous, and joyful. Favorite track: Tenet.
    petersohn thumbnail
petersohn Probably the best Heilung album yet. Besides the usual Nordic stuff, we get to see ancient Rome and the even more ancient Mesopotamia. Favorite track: Tenet.
    starthief thumbnail
starthief So many great songs here, it's tricky to pick one favorite. This is probably the most beautiful Heilung album overall. Favorite track: Tenet.

Brent Davis Excellent psych-sludge. I urge all who enjoy dark, heavy music to buy this album/ support Sky Pig. Favorite track: In Light of your Death.
    Jono Schneider thumbnail
Jono Schneider Heavy miserable hyper riffy doom for the ages. Particularly taken with the big wolf vocals and the extra massive fucking sounds.
