    Urso X thumbnail
Urso X Aptly-titled, raw atmo black/death behemoth that vaguely reminds me (not stylistically, but structurally) of acts like SUMAC and Epitaphe. This is a compilation, but coherent; the pacing is deliberate, and many of the songs unfold in labyrinthine, often unexpected ways, resulting in a sprawling work that’s strangely hypnotic and (at times) even grand. Requires a bit of patience to unlock, but definitely worth the effort. Favorite track: Howling.

Jono Schneider While a slightly different vibe than expected from an I,voidhanger release, it’s still way out there with the heaviness of endless desert darkness. Favorite track: Shallow Grave.

No_one_with_no_Name Much has been said and writen about this Album over the years and rightfully so it is simply one of if not the best Epic Black Metal Album ever.

P.S.: While I like the Summoning Covers they,ve done I much prefer this original Version without them because the way they've been cramed into the Album Breaks the wonderful flow of it.

RockladyLenka An unforgettable and unmissable album in this subgenre. It hasn’t lost any of its shine after all these years. A must-have in my tiny ABM vinyl collection.

    Nocturnal Egg (Jordan) thumbnail
Magnifique ! Favorite track: Kor.
    manolis13ak thumbnail
manolis13ak "O fading town upon an island hill,
Old shadows linger in thine ancient gate..." .. Summoning are going to be forever the top of Epic Atmospheric Black Metal and major contributors and inspiration to unmatched Dungeon Synth genre that came later..

sashavonkarl74 Sophomore album of one-man project from Bogotá, Colombia. Stunning & immersive melodies dominated by an outstanding guitar work, a highlight worth praising here, the solos are juicy too! The contrast provided by the rather low voice is essential to provide a mystical aura and a ritualistic depth. Reminiscent of Taubra, Amalekim, and similar acts. Favorite track: Uruk, Blood and Misery.
