noble-k 華族 'Why' cuts right to the chase; asking the really hard hitting questions in the most brutal, in your face manner. This album perfectly incapsulates the madness that is surviving this dystopian horror novel we call America Favorite track: Why.

coda Might be one of the only songs of this genre I've heard to genuinely make me emotional. The pain, despair and frustration the entire track conveys is overwhelming. Classic album overall, no misses here. Favorite track: Why.

Grimmrobe Despite the odds being throughly against them, Z&A has found a way to meld slave music with black metal to surprising effect.

An acquired taste, yes. But one well worth acquiring. Favorite track: Servants.

MarshMelody this is one of my personal favorites. it's incredibly creative musically, and an excellent concept album. there are barn-burners, there are really heady and emotional moments--and I even love the interludes! Favorite track: Ship On Fire.

Ippocalyptica Yes, I know that I have shit all over similar bands that have blended all sorts of other genres with metal before, but Zeal and Ardor succeed where others have failed because they take bigger risks and, more importantly, know how to stick the landing. Do not look at this as folk mixed with gospel mixed with black metal mixed with soul. Look at this as its own blend of genres that, while quite eclectic and avant-garde, is shockingly coherent and strikingly compelling. Stranger Fruit indeed! Favorite track: Built On Ashes.

ribombitch This album is as powerful now as it was when it first dropped. Already own it physically, but needed to have it on the go as well. Can never have too much of these gents. Favorite track: Götterdämmerung.

Gill Squeezer Zeal & Ardor may be the best band ever created in all facets. This is what music is meant to be and all other bands should look at Zeal & Ardor as an example of what they should strive to be! I love these guys! Favorite track: Run.

brianbmarsh Instantly my favorite metal band, the most intense, high quality metal, high sound quality, I’ve been listening to their 2022 album Fear and Dagger day and night for a week since my friend showed it to me and I showed another friend whose flipping out, this album Chapter 3: The Last Selection is phenomenal, and has a deep bass mix without highs that hurt my ears, CRANK THIS SHIT UP! Awesome collection of videos on YouTube and an online store with their latest vinyl, shirts etc! Bang your heads!!
