  2. AS IT IS
    by Steve Roach

    M3T4LD4D thumbnail
M3T4LD4D AS IT IS takes the listener on an immersive journey through uncertain realms with equanimity as the turning point building to the emergence of peaceful acceptance. Listen from start to finish for the full experience. Favorite track: Equanimity.
    fyeahmetal thumbnail
fyeahmetal Normally I go to Steve Roach albums to experience time less linearly, so to speak, but here we have an album that's structured almost like a conventional one, with tracks that are distinct from each other. We get pure ambience, gentle tribal rhythms, and glimpses of piano, all building towards a breathtaking final pair of tracks in which Roach sets aloft a full-throated melodicism that's new to me in his oeuvre. Favorite track: Tears for Time.
    Greg Moorcroft thumbnail
Greg Moorcroft Full serenity in the face of everything life throws at us. Gorgeous warmth, eyebrow-raising chills and a luminously beautiful conclusion. Favorite track: Unreachable.

    Calvin Chase thumbnail
Calvin Chase My love of Ambient music really started in 75 with Lou Reeds "Metal Machine Music".
I bumped into Structures and Dreamtime in the 80s, and recently the music orbit drifted me by Roach again....
Catching up has been a pleasure, and Ascends takes me further!

  4. TOMORROW
    by Steve Roach

frank_houlihan This and Steve’s Into The Majestic may as well be one large epic volume, they seem to function as sister works. Extremely lovely material, especially when listened to side by side. So much of Steve’s work is under estimated. Even though it’s held in high regard, I often feel not high enough! The whole wide world could use some more Steve.❤️ Favorite track: Optimal Being.
    rockpunkernickel thumbnail
rockpunkernickel Takes me back to my days/years living in the Sonoran Desert (Tucson) in the 90's when I first heard Steve Roach. Like no other, the music of Steve Roach, including Tomorrow, is a creature unique to its habitat, in this case the promise of geologic time built into the staggering beauty, scale and solitude of the Sonoran Desert. Favorite track: Spiral Of Strength.
