    Pashang 爬上 thumbnail
Pashang 爬上 RIP to the most influential darksynth artist I've ever encountered. This album and so many more have burned their way through my brain so many times, providing endless inspiration, catharsis, and pure head-banging enjoyment. Dark and heavy synth is forever lessened by his passing, and all I can say is buy everything he's ever done, support his family, his legacy, and drain a glass in his honor. Favorite track: Death in Bloom.
    rtificial thumbnail
rtificial RIP king, glad to have caught you live whenever you rolled through. Enjoyed your music for years and will continue to enjoy your wealth of output.

◤✞ 𝕳𝖆𝖐𝖎𝖒 𝕭𝖔𝖞 ✞◥ Premise: I’m absolutely hooked on Valediction, but Rites of Love and Reverence hits even harder. I love how GOST’s sound evolved over the years. So Prophecy? Straight-up peak for me. The synthetic brutality has me blown away, and I can sing every melody, every synth lead. Totally vibing with that Wax Trax nostalgia. And let me just shout out the Ministry tribute with “Digital Death”—it’s like an episode from the Psalm 69 era TV series.

Thatoneguybaby Underrated as fuck. Favorite track: Grieving.
    pourbaix1348 thumbnail
pourbaix1348 slasherwave domination soundtrack for a sick PC game Favorite track: Enoch.
    palehorse666 thumbnail
palehorse666 been waiting FOREVER to be able to buy this banger of an OST. Gost is a devious, brutal master of the synthesizer and it really shows here. Walking the Streets has been a favorite bop of mine for a while, and Twisted Nun goes WAAAAAY too hard with those angelic choir vocals. FUCKIN SHEESH Favorite track: Walking the Streets.

    straightstackjack thumbnail
straightstackjack I was very fortunate to have been at Red Rocks for this ritual. I remember when the sound system of Red Rocks quit on them that night, but that didn't stop the energy of their performance in the least. Such powerful voices!
    "Weird Al" Huxley thumbnail
"Weird Al" Huxley I watched the live recording and was enjoying it greatly, and then I heard the band go BIMIBIMIBIMIBABABABA followed by infectiously catchy chanting over what looked like a mock human sacrifice and resurrection on stage. 10/10 Favorite track: Traust.
    petersohn thumbnail
petersohn An excellent compilation, this live album contains the most essential of Heilung's songs at the time of its release. Favorite track: Traust.

Jason Kemp John Darnielle knows just what to leave out. Telling moments you can hear the shape of as each story unfolds. Another great album. Could this be a Virginia Woolf reference? Favorite track: Rocks in My Pockets.
    emanramen thumbnail
emanramen Finally! Another boombox album! The one we were all waiting for! TMG fans unite! Favorite track: Fishing Boat.
    endway thumbnail
endway I loved this album from the first go through, but it has somehow only grown more dear to me with every subsequent listen. This strange narrative about learning to say goodbye to the world and the things in it you love is haunting and deeply meaningful. Your Glow has become one of my go to songs for expressing grief. A fantastic and very unique record. Favorite track: Your Glow.

    onsidefox thumbnail
onsidefox This album, much like the rest of Castle Rat's discography, captures the essence of going on an adventure through a wasted fantasy world. The instrumentals and the vocals collide in a way that sells the feeling of adventure beautifully. Favorite track: Red Sands.
    Trollfiend thumbnail
Trollfiend A perfect fusion of all the best nostalgia I have for fantasy and metal, and I appreciate their commitment to the mythos they've created. Favorite track: Cry For Me.
