Gardenback I never thought this performance would see the light of day but here we are! Even when Michael's music is stripped down to its core essentials, it is still filled with raw, intense emotions. As self-depreciating as Michael may have been, his songs were special and he is truly a gifted musical mind. I hope Projekt revisits the SWS catalog again in the future (perhaps a vinyl release or two!). Favorite track: you’ll tear me away from you.

Doug Tesnow "This release makes me feel so happy" seems like a weird thing to say considering its material, but it honestly really does. Favorite track: i will never let go.

Samantha What an absolutely incredible way for Warning to come back with a such a deep, melancholic, beautiful riffing single. Picking up right where one of the greatest albums of all time, Watching From a Distance, left off. I truly cannot wait for the whole album. Update will come once I heard it all!

kevnmur I discovered BLB during the first lockdown in 2020. I first heard him on Lyric FM in Ireland. I listened to him, whilst out walking, everyday on Spotify, when I found him on Bandcamp I wanted to acquire some music to give something back.

Berkdrums It’s unreal.., the last Spotted Peccary-releases are all just beyond amazing!!!!! Here’s another top 10-album for 2019 if you ask me! Eric Jensen aka Massergy delivers a masterpiece that is beyond beautiful and impressive!! I feel this album is one of the most musical and diverse ambient-albums in the last year or so... Jazz-influences, space-ambient, warm and comforting guitar-melodies, groovy basslines, incredible soundpads, deep immersive ambient, Rhodes piano-sounds, and much more... The moods, and atmospheres on this album are just so amazing!! With all the styles and different sounds you would think that an album can’t be really coherent but it actually is just very much so! A work of passion and an absolute work of art.. Not to be missed by anyone, because I really feel there’s something for everyone here. Eric is a multitalented musician and with ‘Fire Opal’, his debut on Spotted Peccary, he releases a very unique album that just grabs me from the first seconds to the very last, and I just can’t get enough of it! With, again, stunning artwork by the great Daniel Pipitone... Kudos to both!!
    Richard Gürtler thumbnail
Richard Gürtler A lushly colorful, yet deeply connected and intensely engulfing 70-minute listening balm awaits here. A must-have album and one of the ultimate pinnacles of 2019!!! Bravo, Eric!!!
