    SM thumbnail
SM A phenomenal album from start to finish that's ideal for anyone who loves 80's and 90's "alternative." I'm not sure how I missed it when it came out but it's retroactively my favorite album of 2024. Favorite track: Eternal Blue.
    Jesse thumbnail
Jesse Delivering on the promise of two awesome singles, Every Heaven is a near perfect jangle pop album. Favorite track: Come And Get Me.
    Stephen P thumbnail
Stephen P Such a great example of upbeat, jangly Indie Pop. I love the glossy/ethereal elements that bring in that Sarah Records sound as well. Several really catchy tunes! Favorite track: Eternal Blue.
    Dale Price thumbnail
Dale Price Loren has an impressive knack for writing catchy pop hooks. It's impossible to hear one of Humdrum's songs and not end up humming it idly for weeks.

  4. 1967: Vacations in the Past
    by Robyn Hitchcock
    supported by
    "Osaka" thumbnail
"Osaka" Robyn tells the story of 1967 in the words of the musicians who defined it (having already said plenty in his own words), paying tribute not just to songs or singers, but to a pivotal moment in his own life. Favorite track: San Francisco (Be Sure to Wear Flowers in Your Hair).
    Darren Douglas Danahy thumbnail
Darren Douglas Danahy What makes a good covers or tribute album to me, is when the artist manages to both keep what is great about the original while making the song their own.

Every track on "1967 - Vacations In The Past" fits this description to me while also telling me that Robyn Hitchcock and I share similar favorite songs from the period.

A must for fans of Robyn or of music that recalls the summer of love. Favorite track: Waterloo Sunset.
    dub orange thumbnail

Favorite track: See Emily Play.
