    Venus In Furs thumbnail
Venus In Furs I remember following what Sam and Projekt were releasing way back in the early 1990s... It's truly inspiring seeing Sam still at it with the same intense creative drive after all these years. All the other artists' versions of Black Tape songs really make this an extra special release.
    rikm thumbnail
rikm For this deluxe edition of their first release, Black Tape For A Blue Girl have not only remastered the original album, but also invited a number of other artists, including Mirabilis, Attrition, Forrest Fang, and more to share their own covers and interpretations of the album's songs.

The end result is both a great introduction to Black Tape For A Blue Girl and an excellent introduction to other like minded artists...

rikm Haunting and mesmerizing, "Terrace of Memories" floats and drifts through the soundscape, a perfect accompaniment for nocturnal journeys. Gently evocative, this is a truly impressive ambient release that's well suited for both active and passive listening, with each effort returning different results to the listener...

    featured track 00:00/00:00
    Light Years Light Years

    brantly thumbnail
brantly It feels like the soundtrack to a Cormac McCarthy novel: ghosts bound to a land that remembers everything and forgives nothing. Desolate, haunted, and quietly devastating. This is Marissa Nadler at her best. After so many records, she’s still capable of something this storm-worn and beautiful. Highly recommended.
    Spaceman Si thumbnail
Spaceman Si Calm, warm, gentle, a comforting wash for the senses that is like being wrapped in cotton wool with a sensual voice lulling you into a happy state of bliss. I don’t think I’ve ever listened to the whole album and remained awake :) Favorite track: You Called Her Camellia.
    iidebaser thumbnail
