Favorite track: Yor Zarad.

    Alice M. thumbnail
Alice M. Iamthemorning’s keyboardist strikes again. A huge team of geniuses (including Gavin Harrison) cooperating for a thoroughly enjoyable record, regardless of the genre you want to classify it in.
    badgerworld thumbnail
badgerworld Gleb has an art of doing the technical brilliance without compromising on melody or groove. It's really beautiful, and all the contributions from the other musicians are masterful too. It's got some great dramatic moments too - it's probably Gleb's best solo effort to date, and ranks as high as any of his work within iamthemorning too - really lovely stuff. Favorite track: Mercurial.
    logjam82 thumbnail
logjam82 It is a remarkable album, in this sphere there is typically so much grandstanding it becomes a bore but that is what I love about Gleb, it's about well composed pieces, everyone working together within a given song to take the listener on a journey and in that sense this is the best yet. I look forward to more. Favorite track: Apparatus.

    Red thumbnail
Red I literally only bought this album for "Memories of Youth". Something about this song just resonates a lot with me. I think the song title says it all really.
But anyway, I love how it starts off with notes of sorrowful yearning and then kicks off with an epic chorus that just ramps up feelings of nostalgia and longing. Wish it was longer, but, repeat will do just fine.
This wasn't what I was looking for when I looked into this album and yet I've come away deeply touched by this song alone. Favorite track: Memories of Youth.
    Hank thumbnail
Hank This album has quickly become one of my favorites in its genre. Excellent from start to end (rare opinion for me!) and offers great mix of different vibes all while maintaining a consistent theme throughout. Really great stuff! Looking forward to more! Favorite track: Arrival of the Tomato Plant Monsters.

    DJ V From CHICAGO thumbnail
DJ V From CHICAGO Beautifully angelic yet powerfully soulful and jazzy voice at the same time. Great musicianship across the board as well. This debut HAS to be followed up with an equally stellar full-length ASAP. Top notch mature work indeed. Favorite track: Where are you from.
    DJ Osric thumbnail
DJ Osric What a way to make a debut, bravo! This vocal jazz EP is relevant, refreshing and excellently produced. An absolutely exquisite listen. Stardom (and an LP) is surely just around the corner. Love it. Favorite track: Where are you from.

To find yourself in the pit with ED - priceless 😂

Seriously though, does not know life who didn't see them live. Lars couldn't have found a better team to fulfill his vision. Pure immersion and magic.
Lars' unique riffs enhanced by another lead guitar with the third one in the back, weaving an intricate lace of sound. Thunderous bass. The drummer making my jaw drop. The dual growls (Brecht, you should do that more often!). Thanks, guys!

signed, the tall one in a Shylma shirt ;)
    Wruin thumbnail
Wruin From the artwork, to the composition, to the production, this album is an experience. Captivating and heartfelt performance that is sure to stick to my rotation. Favorite track: On The Edge Of The Cliff.

    borisqqwz thumbnail
borisqqwz Absolutely magical record. The mood Rosalie creates through the album is charming and intriguing. I feel like visiting some long relative in a country and listening to their stories sitting in a cozy chair by the fireplace. Arrangements are brilliant, like mixing as well. Every song sounds warm and is perfect in terms of songwriting. I agree that this is Rosalie's Cunningham's finest record. I think it's also one my favourite albums of all now.
    Jez Noir thumbnail
Jez Noir Rosalie is a national treasure, and I'm convinced this is her finest work, eclipsing even the Purson albums. The production and arrangements are stunning - the mix on Denim Eyes is just gorgeous. Songcraft is of the highest order too, the title track is like a Bond theme if Bond themes were still awesome. The best thing to have come out of England since the creation of the NHS and the two series of The Avengers with Diana Rigg Favorite track: Good To Be Damned.
    adriansoundchaser thumbnail
adriansoundchaser I can think of no better words than the review by Jez Noir below (or possibly above). What he said x 2.
